Huff
Psychiatrist Dr. Craig “Huff” Huffstodt (Hank Azaria) has been counseling patients for years. But when a 15-year-old patient commits suicide in front of him at his office, it’s Huff who’s in need of counsel — both mentally and legally.
Coming to the realization that he’s unable to save everyone, Huff re-evaluates his role as husband to Beth (Paget Bruster), father to Byrd (Anton Yelchin), son to live-in mother Izzy (Blythe Danner), and brother to Teddy (Andy Comeau).
Huff struggles not only with his relationships at home and with his patients but also with his office manager, Paula Brooks (Kimberly Russell). Offering him unsolicited advice is a Hungarian homeless man named Istvan (Jack Laufer).
Guiding Huff through the wrongful death lawsuit of the young man who took his life in his office is lawyer and best friend Russell Tupper (Oliver Platt). Russell is no stranger to a party and his assistant, Maggie (Liza Lapira), does her best to keep him on track. Unfortunately, his philandering ways lead him down an unexpected path when he meets sales rep Kelly Knippers (Faith Prince).
