Doogie Howser, M.D.: Harris Takes his Fake MD History Seriously
A few months after Neil Patrick Harris poked fun at his old Doogie Howser, MD persona on How I Met Your Mother, the former 1980s doc is at it again.
Based on the timing, it would seem that the folks in charge of advertising for Old Spice deodorant saw the Mother clip and thought Harris would be a natural to plug their product (huh?) in a humorous way (ohhh). Though the commercial doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, it’s still fun to see Harris poke fun at his 1980s role.
Pay special attention to what’s going on in the background. Where was this filmed anyway? Seattle Grace? Stay tuned!
