TV Series Finale

Las Vegas: New Baby Booties Campaign to Save the NBC Drama

Las Vegas Danny and DelindaOutraged that the peacock network has cancelled Las Vegas after five years on the air? Angry that there wasn’t a proper series finale? Well, you’re not alone.

A group of devoted fans are joining together to deluge NBC execs with baby booties and socks, a reference to viewers being left up in the air over Danny and Delinda’s pregnancy. You can send the infant foot footwear to the peacock network yourself or you can contribute to be part of a group shipment.

Las Vegas’ series creator Gary Scott Thompson has lent his support to the campaign and said, “On behalf of the cast and crew of Las Vegas, thank you for your support the last five seasons. You’re the greatest fans in the world. Good luck with your campaign! We’re ready and willing to give you the series end you deserve. VIVA LAS VEGAS!”

Looks like to the suits have no idea what us regular people i like to watch. I am tried of reality and game shows. Maybe they like to watch this syupid stuff but the rest of do not. To cancel a show and give us no closure on the charactors is just wrong. Fans get attached to these charactors and we deserve to have a final show for closure. I am not watching any NBC shows any more because I will start watching a show and get into it and dummy’s in suit will cancel it.

I just realized this show had been cancelled! I am sooo sad!! I have been watching all the reruns on TNT practically on a daily basis gearing up for when a new show comes out. WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING UP THERE IN YOUR STUPID SUITS!! Why must you subject us to the dumbest of dumb game shows and reality television. I am so done with NBC…Thank god for cable channels HBO and showtime that still offer real tv shows that people can enjoy and get into!

WHAT A BUNCH OF IDIOTS!!! No wonder NBC has been plagued by the lowest ratings of the 3 major networks over the last several years. Cancelling a quality entertainment series like Las Vagas while continuing to air totally boring reality **** like Biggest Loser and Apprentice is the equivalent to ratings suicide. What kind of overpaid donkeys do they have running that network?!!! Once Jay Leno leaves there won’t be anything left to watch on NBC. BRING BACK LAS VEGAS!!! Or it”s bye-bye NBC.

its always the great shows that despite having such a huge success despite a small drop in the ratings get dumped yet rediculously stupid show remain for season after season despite having a lesser following than las vegas. it is a sign that noone, is ever loyal including writers having justr had a strike because they feel deprived. now the thousands of LOYAL fans of the show now suffer the deprivation of a truly great show. the network owes it to them to at least give the show the finale it deserves not just leaving it hang in midair. get your head out af your a**es and give the show, and its fans the courtesy of a decent finale.

I have never seen such horrible programs in regard to the last few years of TV! It seems any program that makes sense such as “Las Vegas” and many others they always have a stupid excuse to cancel it, yet those moronic comedy shows, that don’t make an ounce of sense they keep on! I can remember many years ago, it was enjoyable to watch TV, there were good comedy shows that you could relate to, dramas, and many family type shows. I guess all the execs that make the decision are somehow blinded, as to what a good show really is…. If all the TV stations continue with the decisions they make, it won’t be long before everyone will stop watching TV. since there won’t be anything worthwhile watching!

I just heard that “yet” another 1 of my favorite shows is getting cancelled.
NBC what is wrong with U people!!! I loved the cast & story lines of “Las Vegas” and I know that I’m not the only person that feels this way. So I supoose you’ll stick us with another reality show….I’m sooooo sick of those shows featuring The Donald; kids & their fathers duking it out with other kids dads and lets not forget the 5 or 6 times a week Dateline is on. Enough already…get smart…we viewers R getting sick of having our favorite shows cancelled.

I don’t think any loyal fan of Las Vegas can believe it was canceled so abruptly, and in such a stupid way. I hope the already overpaid writers got what they wanted from this strike. It’s completely ruined television this season, and is likely to affect the fall season as well. Thank God for DVDs. And for you network executives, especially those of you at NBC, good luck winning back the millions of viewers you’ve lost. Hope you’re current on your Mercedes payments….

I am not home most nights and need to dvr most of the shows i watch and Las Vegas was one i enjoyed when i got home after work on a Friday at 3 am and liked to kick back and watch it. It was funny and had a good story line with and built up its characters well to make you more interested in the show every week. For those who don’t get to go to Las Vegas like me get to enjoy some of the things the city has to offer without actually going or maybe even encourage people to take a trip there to see the sites. It just seams funny the shows that these people keep on the air and the ones that are canceled just don’t make sense sometimes.

I am not afraid to admit that there is nothing more that I love to do to unwind than watching TV. Las Vegas is one of my favorite television shows. I enjoy vacationing in Las Vegas yearly, and in fact got married in Vegas on October 16th, 2007.

This years programming has been an utter mess as result of the writers strike. Some shows ended abruptly, while others teased us with a show here and there. I found myself every other day surfing the internet to find when shows would return. Quite frankly, this grew old by December. Thankfully I did not miss an episode of Las Vegas this season. I can not say the same for other shows. I personally blame the writer’s strike for low ratings on any television shows, and feel that it is unfair to put judgement on any shows with low ratings this season. Perhaps if this is going to be the out come this season of all the networks, I’ll just stop watching television all together.

    steve,

You hit it on the head. I curl up with a book or find something else to do instead of watching basic TV. NBC is not only stupid,. politically, it’s stupid when it comes to what they put on their channel.

Journeyman is another example. Just plain dumb to cancel that program.

However is running their TV division is a real JERK!!! and I’m being polite about that!!!

What a mistake! The network will air stupid reality **** yet cancel a show that the viewers can relate to.
Most people that watch the show have visited Las Vegas or, after watching, would like to visit.
The city of Las Vegas should also be complaining that the show is cancelled.
We can only hope that it will be replaced with something really good like a “Brittney Spears story”, the” Hillary Clinton “why don’t they treat me fair” story or something really interesting like 10 couples on an island swapping spouses while racing around the island eating some nasty food all wihile trying to train the local animals to sit and stay.
Leave a great show with good, real, actors alone and trash the garbage you guys have the nerve to call entertainment alone.
