Where Do Classic TV Characters Eat? McDonald’s?
Back in 1988, McDonald’s gathered a bunch of actors from classic TV shows to announce their “Double Cheeseburger Reunion” — a combo of their double cheeseburger and large order of fries. This was in the days before the fast-food chain’s combo menu.
The 20-year-old commercial features Al Lewis as Grandpa from The Munsters, Don Adams as Agent 86 from Get Smart, Buddy Ebsen as Jed Clampett from The Beverly Hillbillies, Bob Denver as Gilligan from Gilligan’s Island, and Barbara Billingsley and Ken Osmond as June Cleaver and Eddie Haskell from Leave It to Beaver.
