Battlestar Galactica (1978)
In a distant star system, the humans of 12 colony worlds are fighting a thousand year war against a race of war robots called Cylons. Badly beaten, the survivors flee on the last surviving warship, the Battlestar Galactica, and search for a legendary planet called Earth. The ship is under the command of Commander Adama (Lorne Greene) and he is aided by son Captain Apollo (Richard Hatch), Lieutenant Starbuck (Dirk Benedict), Lieutenant Boomer (Herbert Jefferson Jr.), and Colonel Tigh (Terry Carter).
