Birds of Prey
This dark, live-action series takes a new approach to the Batman mythos.
Two years after the caped crusader has abandoned fictional New Gotham City, former Batgirl and paraplegic Barbara Gordon (Dina Meyer) uses her computer and weaponry expertise to battle crime. She is assisted by Huntress Helena Kyle (Ashley Scott) who has cat-like powers and is the daughter of Bruce Wayne and the now-dead Catwoman, Selina Kyle. Rounding out the team is Dinah Redmond (Rachel Skarsten) who is a touch-telepath and the daughter of deceased superheroine Black Canary.
Other principal characters include Detective Jesse Reese (Shemar Moore), Batman’s butler Alfred Pennyworth (Ian Abercrombie), and therapist Dr. Harleen Quinzel (Mia Sara) who is actually the Joker’s moll Harley Quinn.
