Grace Kelly (Brett Butler) is a smart-talking, single mother and recovering alcoholic that lives in Victory, Missouri.
After her divorce from her wife-beating husband, Grace starts a new life and begins working at a local oil refinery.
At home, she raises her three children — troublemaker Quentin (Jon Paul Steuer), cute Libby (Kaitlin Cullum), and baby Patrick (Dylan and Cole Sprouse) — with some support from neighbors Nadine and Wade Swoboda (Julie White and Casey Sander), and the town’s divorced pharmacist, Russell Norton (Dave Thomas).
