Half & Half
This sitcom follows twin sisters who grew up separately and meet as adults when they move into the same San Francisco apartment building.
Mona Thorne (Rachel True) is a self-reliant music industry executive who was raised by her single mother Phyliss (Telma Hopkins). Dee Dee Thorne (Essence Atkins) grew up spoiled in a two parent home and primarily wants to step out of the shadow of her overbearing mother, “Big Dee Dee” (Valarie Pettiford).
Other characters include Mona’s friends and co-workers Spencer Williams (Chico Benymon) and Adam Benet (Alec Mapa); and the girls’ father, Charles Thorne (Obba Babatunde).
