Spider-Man (1967)
The first animated series about the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man features limited animation and a strangely catchy theme song.
Peter Parker (Paul Soles) is a quiet young guy who works as a freelance photographer for the Daily Bugle and its gruff editor J. Jonah Jameson (Paul Kligman). Peter shyly tries to woo sweet receptionist Betty Brant (Peg Dixon) but is frequently interrupted and his alter-ego is called into action to defeat tough bad guys like Dr. Octopus (Vernon Chapman), the Lizard (Gillie Fenwick), and Mysterio (Chris Wiggins).
Peter’s life isn’t made any easier by the fact that both his boss and his dear Aunt May both despise the web slinger.
