The Late Show Starring Joan Rivers
A late-night talk show hosted by stand-up comedian Joan Rivers. Rivers had been the permanent guest host on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson when she was wooed into doing her own series for FOX in October 2006.
The program features Rivers performing her trademark caustic humor in an opening monologue, followed by musical performances and interviews with TV and movie personalities.
Rivers left the show in 1987 and it was renamed simply The Late Show for the remainder of its three year run.
