Welcome to the Captain
When the career of Hollywood whiz kid Josh Flug (Fran Kranz) hits a wall, his accountant-to-the-stars best friend, Marty (Chris Klein), convinces him to move into his legendary apartment building, the El Capitan (translated “The Captain”).
The El Capitain’s eccentric tenants include Uncle Saul (Jeffrey Tambor), a former Three’s Company writer who’s a self-proclaimed expert on anything and everything; aging femme fatale Charlene (Raquel Welch); gossipy and unhelpful doorman Jesus (Al Madrigal); flighty young actress Astrid (Valerie Azlynn); and aspiring acupuncturist Hope (JoAnna Garcia) to whom Josh is immediately attracted.
