It was a solid launch for the new comedy. It lost 23% of the demo audience from lead-in Big Bang Theory. However, ¡ROB! outperformed the season premiere of Rules of Engagement by 14% and December’s last original episode of Rules by 52%.

It was also a significant improvement for CBS (up 41% in the demo) when compared to last year’s ratings for now-cancelled $#*! My Dad Says. Unless the show seriously declines in the next couple weeks, it looks like the network may finally have found a compatible partner for Big Bang.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the ¡ROB! TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

Bring back ¡ROB! The show was funny, I’m Mexican American and I’m not offended,
I enjoy every episode and I thought the jokes were unique, every show has stereotypes, so get over it. Derbez is going to be someone big in Hollywood and you

First time watching the whole 1st season in one day! I don’t normally watch TV, but when I do find some time it better be worth watching. I absolutely LOVE Rob Schneider in this comedy sitcom on CBS. I was concerned as to why only 8 episodes??? I found the humor and stereotype to be funny and unoffensive at all, being that I am an Asian-Spanish-Amercian. This is TVland folks. Let’s face it…. everyone makes fun of everyone whether you admit to it or not. It’s called humor. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it and it made me laugh….I do hope that CBS gives ROB another season 2013 so I can have my marathon again. Bravo Rob casts and thank you!!
