It was a solid launch for the new comedy. It lost 23% of the demo audience from lead-in Big Bang Theory. However, ¡ROB! outperformed the season premiere of Rules of Engagement by 14% and December’s last original episode of Rules by 52%.

It was also a significant improvement for CBS (up 41% in the demo) when compared to last year’s ratings for now-cancelled $#*! My Dad Says. Unless the show seriously declines in the next couple weeks, it looks like the network may finally have found a compatible partner for Big Bang.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the ¡ROB! TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?

This show is pretty great! This isn’t a random cast of Hispanic actors. They’re very hilarious/famous Hispanic comedians.

Thank you to the person who commented that the people don’t even look related. This is my biggest peeve about shows with a “mexican” family. As usual, the just picked a pack of Latin actors, maybe they think they all look alike. The people don’t match and they all have different accents, I guess the show creators think they all sound alike too.

They ripped How to be a gentleman off the air in what 3-4 eps? Rob will do the same. CBS needs to stop trying to kill shows that work like Rules O.E. for these awful ones. They need to put new shows on Saturdays like they tried with “Rules”
