ABC, stop serving your own greedy interests!!! Invasion was 1 of my favorite shows. I absolutely HATE that you cancelled it!! Lost is theonly thing that keeps me watching ABC. If ya’ll cancel Lost like you did Invasion, I swear I will find a way to boycott ABC!!!Don’t ya’ll care about your viewers?? Obviously not. Ya’ll SUCK!! I signed the petition and I also got 18 others to sign it as well. BRING INVASION BACK!!!!! I want to know what went with Larkin!!! Please I beg you!!!! well personally i em very upset that invasiond got cancled it was so interesting to watch and see what was going to happen next i never found out it got cancled but i finally relized it when a new show was playing its place rather pissed me off. how do they think we are just gonna watch one sence let us drop off a cliff then it never comes back that my friends really pisses me off

I do not understand how you could get rid of Invasion. I had been waiting and waiting for it to return and found out that you had cancelled the show. Wednesdays used to be my favorite TV night and now I am back to watching my DIRECTV shows, I still record Lost but I refuse to go to ABC and view any more of their shows until you return Invasion. I just signed the petition to return it. There seems to be no obvious respect for finishing something you started. At least give it one more season to finish it.

I could not belive they that they dont want to keep “Invation”! Im have seen every episode in Norway and the last one aired to day- I cried when they said that the show had been cancelde! In Norway this was a more populare show than Lost!!!! what where they thinking!! There is a lot of “junk-tv”, but “invation” is not one of them.

Why did you cancel Commander in Chief? Is it that only shows with a lot of sex are the only shows that are being watched. No wonder our youth is so corrupt. Commander in Chief was an interesting and well portrayed series, you got us hooked and then you let us sink. Thanks, Bring the show back.

I am so disappointed in the fall lineup. All of the good tv programs are gone. Bring back Jim, Rodney and George. I only watch TV on Monday nights because that is the only night there are good comedies on. Who cares about these reality shows that have no reality to them. I am in my 50’s and I could care less about dancing with stars or big losers, survivors, teen singers being verbally abused by adults or any other of this garbage.

I am so diappointed in TV. I never write regarding TV shows but I am finally prompted to put my opinions somewhere, not that I believe it matters. Lately ABC has been putting on better shows rather than the canned laugh sitcomes. Thought provoking shows like Invasion and the newer Six Degrees, which just was taken off the air, were both a breath of fresh air for the thinking folks. What do we have to do to keep the GOOD shows on TV? The TV shows that remain appeal to the masses that veg in front of the TV. Even Lost has become so sporadic I am losing intreest in staying with finding out what happens because my life is too busy to worry about how ABC schedules the rest of this show! If there is any good news about Six Degrees please let me know.

Invasion was an excellent television show as well as Rodney. I am upset that too was cancelled. I really don’t even want to start watching any new shows because every single time I get into a show, it get’s cancelled. I even find myself leary about enjoying LOST too much because I wouldn’t be surprised if ABC pulled the plug on that one either. You people have an act for drawing the viewers in and then just letting us go. Then you put Rodney up against American Idol. C’mon ppl, get with it. Start putting some of these great shows back on and use a little more common sense with your time slots.

My husband and I have been waiting for RODNEY to come back on. Now I find out it’s been cancelled.
That was the FUNNIEST show on the air. What’s wrong with you people? Finally a show that’s actually believable comes on and you pull the plug. Rodney was a show that our family could watch and really relate to. We loved Tuesday nights because we could sit down as a family and watch Rodney. Please give the show one more chance. It was absolutley hilarious.

I can understand if certain shows get cancelled b/c of bad ratings but ABC DOES change shows around and airs show like one of my favorites, Vanished, rumored to be cancelled after only 13 episodes. For example, Lost’s ratings have been slipping since season 2 b/c of all the big gaps and repeats. It was said that ABC would not have the same happen this season due to the loss of so many viewers who didn’t have the time or the patients to keep up with new and old episodes and the times that they would be on, like myself. I finally finished watching the 2nd season about a week ago and am now caught up on the 3rd season only to find out that they will supposedly be taking about a 2 month hiatus. November 9th will be the last episode until Feb. 7th. In it’s place they are putting some show called Day Break to see how it will do in Lost’s slot and put Lost in a time slot after Grey’s Anatomy so that ABC can claim that Thursdays are “theirs”. I am pretty irritated about it. If ABC keeps canceling and/or changing time slots for their shows what’s to say that their ratings are not going to keep slipping. Who has a cliff hanger in the middle of the season any way?

Never Again will ABC, CBS or NBC get my loyalty.
They just throw you away like corporate america does its employees nowdays. Outsource, ratings, money, immediate success or else. Well, bridges have been burned and this tv is one sci-fi fan who is not going back. I will only by a DVD Series when I know its 1) a good series 2) last more than a season 3) has some resolution 4) is not broken up into several parts (season 1.1, 1.2, 1.3) to “add value” to the companies bottom line. I’m sick of big business and tv execs. They can go take a hike.

Commander an chief good idea not good person for the role. her kids were stupid. the plots were not real and believable. to much back stabbing by donald sutherlands charactor. trying to pass era ammendment after 30 years STUPID PLOT IDEA. the plot were the dumb kids have a unsupervised party in the white house WAS STUPID. even when the president in gone the white house still has staff and secret service people at ALL TIMES and having them have beer at their party was sending a wrong message to views those kids were under legal drinking age girls and boys making out inthe oval office STUPIE PLOT. and one day i will vote for a women president but not if she is like this air head played by gena davis. good it’s gone course the girl that played her oldest daughter was cute.

To our surprise after reading all these comments, it saddens us that our favorite night of televsion, watching Lost, then Invasion will no longer happen. Because of networks dropping shows like Invasion, I try to limit the number of new shows I watch each year. As expected, left hanging again (Earth 2, Space: Above and Beyond, etc.) Thankfully, Enterprise was allowed the opportunity to shoot an ending. Lost and Invasion back to back were good at keeping my remote from wandering. At least there is always a good Friday night Sci Fi line up.

Thank Goodness George Lopez has atleast one more season. Lost and George are the only two shows that has me hooked on ABC in the evenings anymore. When they go, I go. Lost about had me done in the first season with all the re-runs. I hope they have this problem fixed now and keep us happy. George is so funny on his show, I can’t imagine why they would have thought of having him on the chopping block this year. ABC just wants too many serious shows in the evening. How you top executive IDIOTS who make lots and lots of money don’t know that people LOVE the beggining of every epsiode, the cliffhanger for the season finale and the final, final episode of the series.

I am late to the party here. I have been looking forward to seeing the premiere of Invasion and it’s been cancelled? I cannot believe that!! I watched it faithfully and looked forward to seeing it on Wednesdays!! Bring it back! It really is NOT fair to end it like that! I am very disappointed and will be changing to another station. ABC, you really upset a lot of people here. Why can’t we have an ending? I’ve heard you can get the show on DVD but some people would rather watch it on T.V. instead of having to buy it. Reconsider here and be fair. Invasion IS not WAS a great show! It seems that whenever I get into a show, it gets cancelled! I am really sick of it! Do the smart thing and bring it back! I am very disappointed that Invasion will not be returning. Through the years, without realizing it, I have stopped watching CBS and ABC. It was not intentional, it just happened that all the television shows I enjoyed were on NBC. With my interest in the new and innovative show Invasion, I ended up watching several ABC shows, by starting to watch Lost and Invasion,and before you knew it I was watching Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy on Sunday and Boston Legal on Tuesday. Please rethink your decision on Invasion.

My husband & I are not into watching the LOCAL television as we have DIRECT TV HOWEVER, during a STORM one evening we saw the VERY First Invasion and have followed it ever since. We then started to watch LOST and are Wednesday nights were set. If we had to work late we used our DVR and recorded them and watched both LOST and Invasion together when we arrived home!
We are so sad to see you have RUINED our LINE UP!!!
We are glad Lost will return but Wednesdays will NOT be the same without Invasion…. Although we see “Tom Underlay” is now on an up-coming new show we would like him to return to his role as Tom once again.
Maybe you executives SHOULD watch the show and see what 40,000 + people are talking about!
It was really nice to see that the whole community was working together with ALIEN and HUMAN. And those causing conflict were taken care of!
Please bring the show back and keep it with the Lost show as it is a GREAT LINE UP on WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

I am disappointed to hear that Invasion will not be returning this fall. It was one of the better shows amongst the crap your network has become known for. I cannot understand why you would cancel a show that has the potential to become really big. What you should have done was try another time slot, before taking such drastic measures. You could have at least tied up the story lines before cancelling it.

What a disappointment the viewers of ABC have expressed here on this page. The cancelling of Invasion, Commander in Chief, Rodney, and even Freddie have people wondering just what ABC believes that their viewers want to see. Personally, I dont watch reality TV. Ive never watched it and never will. I think its boring plain and simple. Im a drama fanatic and truly enjoyed Wednesday night just as many have expressed so far in these postings. Lost will continue to be good and then with Invasion after it, I had 2 solid hours of great drama to watch. I even got into Grey’s Anatomy on Sunday too. Why in the world would executives at ABC do something like cancel good, quality shows like this? To see what else they could throw at us? It makes no sense. Commander in Chief was good too. The exposure that people got with Gena Davis acting as President of the United States was mind-riveting and spellbinding to say the least. Now, both Commander in Chief and Invasion are gone. Pitty. The only things left to watch on ABC are Lost and Grey’s Anatomy now. I wont watch the new shows that ABC are offering. Id rather watch paint dry. Unless ABC brings back Invasion, Commander in Chief, and Rodney, I wont watch ABC expect for Lost and Grey’s Anatomy. At least those stayed around. Come on… just because all the other networks made changes to their lineups doesnt mean that you guys have to. You had commited people to these shows and will continue to fight for them as long as we have a voice. And if one of you executive individuals would read these posts, you would TRULY know where the viewing public ranks you in your decison making.

Invasion is a series that should have continued. Left the fans hanging on wondering of the out come. It was a mistake to cancel it. If you do not want to contine the series, should at least give it an ending. Very disappointed that a good series like invation could not have continued, while others, not half as good as invation are continuing.

ABC you have missed the boat in cancelling Rodney.
That was the only show my husband and I looked forward to watching every week. We won’t be watching ABC this fall. Who wants to watch another new show and have ABC’s upper management cancel it. There idiots. They don’t even know a bright funny show when it’s layed in there lap.

commander in chief was ok but just okay, it wasn’t as good as west wing. real life was more interesting than c and chief and the one episode were the kids take over the white house and have girls and guys and beer in the white house was STUPID DUMB AND STUPID they don’t let a bunch of dumb kids run around the white house even if their mother is the president. the secret service and the white house security still stay. and having a bunch of STUPID DUMB teen agers promoting underage drinking and boys and girls running around unsupervised making out and having sex in the white house. Shows the stupidity and lack of creativity by the writers. it was not that great of a show. but the presidents teenage daugther was cute and that’s the only reason i watched the show for. the plot and show basically sucked. i mean bring back the argument for passing the equal rights ammendment from the 1970’s that story line was also dumb the 70’s are over get on with your life.anyway may the show rest in peace i know i will.

Regarding Invasion. I am very disapointed it has been canceled. I enjoyed watching Lost and then Invasion. Could have sworn or thought it would have been a great story line to find out in the end that the two shows related to one another. You know the “others” were actually the “Invaders”- wouldn’t that have added a great story dimension to the mystery,

i cant believe that abc has cancelled 2 really great shows. invasion and rodney were the best shows. invasion kept us on edge and rodney just made me pee my pants with laughter. so far the only show left for me to watch is desperate housewives. abc is making very big mistakes cancelling these shows.

Two good shows have been cancelled – “Invasion” & “Commander in Chief”.
Invasion was getting better & better with every episode and then they leave us hanging with a cliffhanger and we will never get to find out what happened. “Commander in Chief” was great from the beginning. The network ruined it by having too many weeks between episodes & then moving it to a different night. That was a great show & Geena Davis was great in it.

Hi here in the UK we have recently recieved ABC1 which mainly shows all of ABC’s comedy progs and also Commander in Chief. Have to say that Commander in Chief is great and that my wife and I think that Rodney and Less Than Perfect are just fantastic shows. We are also great fans of Mad About You. We are very sad and angry to hear that these shows have been axed, especially Rodney. Luckily we can now get FX which I think seems to be your Fox channel. Now I can watch NCIS and Sleeper Cell etc. without having to worry about what I’m missing on ABC1. As previously mentioned, it seems like only the good programmes get axed, like Alien Nation and Wolf Lake. Well hope you people get lucky with your petitions. Fingers crossed. By the way what is ‘Surface’ we don’t seem to have that over here yet, doesn’t seem like much point in watching it when it does.

A good reason not to watch network TV is the way that leave a great show like Invasion, with no ending and the audiance hanging.But not to worry! You can bet your last doller that they will find a realy Crappy show to replace it with.It appears that there is a network rep. watching my house and if they find a show that I like someone runs to cancel it.

I can’t believe that Invasion was cancelled – why is it that all the good sci-fi shows get cancelled – and to add insult to injury they cancel the show without concluding it – its like reading a great mystery and then putting the book down before getting to the end – before anything is explained. Invasion had a great cast and a great storyline – I seem to remember another great Shaun Cassidy show – American Gothic that was cancelled. What is wrong with you television executives -

I can;t remember exactly but if Surface was also an ABC – that was really stinking to cancel it as well – it was another very interesting show – just left hanging.

Why would you cancel In Justice and The Evidence? It doesn’t make sense to cancel shows that have good ratings after only one year. There are numerous shows that didn’t even do well the first year and went on to run for several years. Reconsider these 2 shows please.

Please don’t cancel Invasion. I never use to watch “regular” TV ie:Abc. These stations didn’t have anything as interesting as cable television! When the line-up of “Lost” and “Invasion” aired midweek on television, the unthinkable happened. I actually enjoyed watching ABC. As a matter of fact, I really enjoyed the line-up on Sunday night when Grey’s Anatomy was on after Desperate Housewives, but y’all had to mess with that! Why do you change things up when they are already fine. It was nice to unwind with my favorite shows on Sunday before I had to return to the “grind” on Monday! No one ever checks with the viewers!

Please bring RODNEY back. I looked forward to
seeing his show each week, and I miss it very
much. I still have some of the episodes recorded,
so I can replay them, but I would love to see
some new episodes.

his “live” stand-up show, it is also hilarous.
And to ABC, Please give Rodney a second chance; and a better time slot. It was not nice to put him up
against American Idol.

I CANT BELIEVE THEY CANCELED INVASION. IF IT WASNT FOR LOST, GREYS ANATOMY I WOULDNT’ WATCH IT ABC AT ALL. INVASION WAS THE BEST SHOW ON TV AND I DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW THEY WOULD JUST TAKE IT OFF. How can ABC justify taking off Commander in Chief, is it because they thought it was to farfetched to have a woman as PRESIDENT. The worst of it is our favorite show Invasion. At least it isn’t a stupid new comedy that ABC would cancel after 2-3 shows while replacing our favorite shows. I really hope that another station picks it up, and how can they leave us hanging after the last show! I hope maybe the Sci-Fi station will pick it up, or another station that knows great shows and how many people watched it. We certainly don’t need any more stupid comedys or crime dramas or medical shows. Now I find out that Surface has been cancelled you leave us hanging. How stupid are these people that cancel these shows! I sincerely hope Sci-Fi picks up Invasion and Surface they are great shows. I know we would turn the channel to watch them on Sci-Fi or any other station. Barbara

I’m very disappointed that my favorite shows Rodney & Less Than Perfect were cancelled. What’s wrong with ABC? Do they really think that doing new shows will change their primetime ratings? I don’t think so! Rodney was the best comedy show on ABC!

All of the comments in favor of Invasion show that ABC has again shown they are not in tune with their viewers.

They did the same thing with China Beach years ago.

Would be great if someone else picked it up.
