Life on Mars is a great show…..one to look forward to ! Why cancel it to put awful shows like Better Ofted or stuff likr that !? Friday night has nothing on worth viewing .
Put Life on Mars on there ! All the good shows get canceled….pretty soon there will only be crap to watch and we may as well throw the TV out !

Once again the execs more a show to a bad time slot, and they act all surprised when its ratings drop.

There was NOTHING WRONG with War At Home. There is, however, lots wrong with Fox’s execs.

I agree War at home was just as great as Family Guy other than its by real people. And now I hear that they will be hosting a spin off of Cleveland from Family Guy. Yeah… Let’s cancel one series that was on prime time line up for a sure fire failure. At least if you are going to do a spin off going with Family Guy, Quamire at least.

War at home is one of the best shows ever, Its crap that its ended, because unlike the oc which needed to end due to samey storylines, the war at home has got lots of mileage left. I know theres only 100 odd post on here complainning but if you went out on the street in the uk and asked people who watch E4 (War at home broadcaster in UK) they would probably all say war at home is wicked cool fantastic, and yes hillary is fit!!!

You have got to be kidding me. War at home was one of the most painfully awful shows on TV ever. Convoluted family values and miserable production. War at Home should have been canceled immediately. My suspicion that there is an incredibly alarming amount of tasteless people in this country, seems to be right on. Why else would these pointless, dull crapfests get multiple seasons when deep dark clever shows like Firefly only got one? And at least Drive had Fillion. Rapaport is not a good dad character. Ugh all these people praising War at Home… I am going to go be sick… at least it’s off the air. Geez.

Thank God for Netflix! I know I’m late, but just discovered THE WAR AT HOME. What a shame it was cancelled after 44 shows. The public never had a chance to really hear about it. I took it to work where we watched it on the mid shift. No one had heard of it either. We were all rollng with the humor and things we could relate to. SHAME ON YOU FOX!

THE LOOP – Never watched when on TV – only on Demand on Web but it was SO FUNNY and smart that I watched all episodes at least 3 times. Never knew the show was on until I sirfed what was available on-line. Of course it, like all of the other truly original shows such as Drive and Wedding Belles disappear for mindless story-lines such as Prison Broke or go cheap with so many adult cartoons like Family Guy – they’re funny, I watch them, but they ARE cartoons.
Come on, FOX, REWARD originality and creativity by giving it a chance. If you need money, offer DVDs of shows like The Loop and Drive.

WHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY did they cancel the war at home it was the best show on fox easily, maybe even on tv.im british and its been gracing our screens for a year or so now and my friends and i have to say it is the funniest best written and most easily relateable show on television. the characters make me laugh sooo much and remind me so much of people i know. please bring back this television show i doubt you will but still if you do, know that it will make many many people of all ages happy. please bring it back PLEASEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S Why did they leave the show where it is if they weren’t going to bring it back please have one more season ( at least) for all the die hard fans out there

Would you please get over yourselves, so FOX are cancelling some shows and renewing others but isn’t that what TV is all about. The shows that have been cancelled have been justly so perhaps for a variety of reasons i.e. FOX felt that perticular show had had it’s time in the spotlight and had to stop before it became dilluted (The O.C). Or the shows cancelled were not getting enough viewers. I mean I personally like “the war at home” and “the O.C” but it’s quite obvious to me that others didn’t. FOX have the right to cancel whatever they wish regardless of what you think. I still think that FOX have very good programming such as “Family Guy”, “American Dad” and “Prison Break”.

Hopefully some other network will pick up shows like Standoff and Justice. Fox’s problem is when they get a good show with good ratings they start moving them around to different days and time slots until they get bad rating which causes them to be cancelled. An old saying I grew up with is “if it isn’t broke,don’t fix it”. Fox should take heed!!!!!

Did anyone else notice that some of the spark has been gone from Standoff during the last two episodes, and they weren’t running a preview for the next show during the credits? I was glad I had my DVR set, because I would have missed the episodes due to lack of advertising. Lame.

To be honest, FOX seems to make a lot of mistakes like this, shows that aren’t so great seem to run forever, and the ones that take a while to build a fanbase are dumped. I doubt that a lot of people even knew about Standoff, I personally begged people to watch it because I love Ron so much….

In the end, FOX sucks the big one, all of the shows mentioned on the cancellation list were a whole lot better than watching some has-been dance, watching some screwed up family get the help it “desperately” needs (because americans can’t parent without guidance from the tv) or watching some long drawn out series about an innocent guy who was falsely imprisoned (or whatever because i never could quite get into that plot.) america seems to want stupid tv, easy mindless brain candy. and fox is more than happy to acommodate that (the oc….jesus….)

I was really getting into Standoff it was a very smart show. It had great actors, actresses and great plots. There were really building the storyline, this show coul’ve really had a good run like Prison Break or even 24. Its a shame to see a good show go to waste especially when the viewers were really getting into. Same goes with Tru Calling. I was so getting into that show. The plot was getting better and better and they even added Jason Priestley as a main character which made it more exciting to watch. Then out of nowhere FOX decides to cancel it. COME ON FOX STOP TEASING YOUR VIEWERS. You dont have that many great shows and the ones that are any good you cancel them before they can develop a strong fan base. YOU GOT TO START GETTING IT RIGHT AND LISTEN TO YOUR VIEWERS!!!

Fox has proved over and over that it cannot be trusted. Standoff is one of the few shows on tv that actually had potential to turn into a hit. So many of the shows FOX has “saved” are so stupid that it insults your intelligence to even see the commercials. Now with the overdone “reality” shows and the on-slot of “new” dramas the network doesn’t care about the shows that could have actually save it from it’s dismal ratings. I for one will only be watching BOnes this fall on Fox. Why get hooked on another new show when the network will only jerk it around and then pull the plug. The actors on Standoff deserved much better treatment than they got, the only fortunate thing is that now their contracts are over so hopefully they will all be recognized by someone else for the talent they all posess.

Which is unfortunate, because they seem to START intelligent, provocative shows…and then get scared. Given the wimping out of House this season, I expect it’ll go next year, too. Darn Fox. I’m very disappointed that The War at Home has been cancelled. Fox has a pattern of doing this, though — moving a show around to different days/timeslots, never letting anyone know when the show’s airing, and then cancelling it due to low ratings. Look not only at The War at Home, but The Ben Stiller Show, Futurama, Family Guy (a miracle that it came back), A Minute with Stan Hooper, and the biggest injustice – Arrested Development. If it wasn’t for The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy, and American Dad, I’d stop watching Fox all together.

The War at Home was a good show. It was funny and interesting. I know it recieved negative reviews about kenny coming out of the closet but there are alot of shows that expressed Homosexuality. In the Sopranos Tony found out Vito was gay and they were making fun of him and in Will and Grace this was a gay show but it was funny. This show should have stayed. Please put another season of the War at Home because it’s funny interesting and a comedy.

I don’t consider a series cancelled until they stop airing it. ‘Standoff’ is no exception here. Fox has yet to officially say that they have pulled the plug on this show.

Justice was the best show I have seen in years on ANY network, let alone fox. Why they cancelled it is beyond me… of course it gets bad ratings WHEN YOU MOVE IT TO FRIDAYS!!! And they cancel the winner just when its getting good and the war at home was still a favorite of mine even though the storyline was getting weird. Till death getting renewed surprises me, as it had a terrible timeslot that kept changing and even though I thought it was funny, it had cancelled written all over it. After years and years of watching fox you get a sixth sense for these things. Meanwhile crap like 5th grader gets renewed for god knows how long. I never watched drive but it obviously had a wide arching storyline that takes more than 4 episodes to really get into. I have seen good shows get cancelled in the past, only to be brought back and then cancelled again (andy richter anyone?), but Justice didn’t deserve that. Really stupid move… even for fox.

DRIVE SHOULDA BEEN GIVEN A CHANCE TO BLOSSOM STANDOFF WAS JUST AWESOME AND JUSTICE WAS ALMOST AS GOOD AS HOUSE AND IF RAN BEFORE HOUSE ON THE SAME NIGHT COULDA WORKED VERY WELL I THINK AND THE WINNER AND WAR AT HOME WERE GOOD SHOWS WITH POTENTIAL OF RUNNING FOR A LONG TIME AND BECOMING CLASSICS I THINK THESE SHOWS COULD EVEN BE SUCCESSFULL ON OTHER NETWORKS AND TIL DEATH,24, BONES, STEVEN FERGESON,SMARTER THAN A 5TH GRADER, ETC. THOSE ARE THE ONES THESE IDIOTS SHOULDA CANCELLED! I THINK FOX HAS SO MUCH MONEY THAT THEY RUN SHOWS BASED ON POLITICS AND PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS AND NOT ON THE QUALITY AND POTENTIAL OF THE SHOW. THIS SUCKS BUT THANK GOODNESS FOR SIMPSONS, PRISONBREAK,HOUSE AND MAD TV… AT LEAST THESE SHOWS ARE STILL GOIN AND HAVENT BEEN REPLACED BY ABSOLUTE GARBAGE LIKE TRADING SPOUCES NANNY 911 AND THE O.C. .. BLEEHHCK! EWW

Why would you cancel “The War At Home?”, that was one of the best shows on Fox, on sndays I always loved watching the Four Fathers Of Comedy; Homer, Peter, Stan and Dave. Don’t keep it away forever.

Please bring back War at Home.enjoyed and watched every episode until the end.There are other shows that are least worthy and are still on the air.For example,24,Prisonbreak,Bones,and Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader.Could you show re-runs at least of the War At Home.I will greatly appreciate that very much.

While I am not shocked that FOX cancelled Standoff, what I am shocked and ticked off about is the out and out lies it told to the fans of the show. To answer emails and phone calls to the networks with the lie that the show was going to be looked at as a summertime drama and be given a good lead in to prove itself was a bald face lie. What’s even worse is that a network that is that underhanded, most likely didn’t tell the actors either, they probably found out the same way we did. FOX gained a viewer and lost the same one with me when they cancelled this show.

I can’t believe FOX cancelled Justice. That was such a great show! Like someone said before, I can’t believe a show like Prison Break stays. What a disappointment!!! I also enjoyed watching Standoff, my kids enjoyed that one too.

I don’t get FOX’s logic. They go and cancel GOOD, SMART shows like Drive, The Winner and The Wedding Bells and yet shows with no thought put into them like Prison Break get renewed? Oh wait…I forgot. This is FOX.
