i Totally agree with you although i love 90210 and melrose is okay but one show that should get canned is Vampire dairies that show sucks ass and i HATE it..Bring the game BACK NOW……….. I’m upset b/c I love Evwrybody Hates Chris and The Game. They were the few shows for blacks and they were real. I think they are absolutely fantastic shows and its just wrong that they were cancelled. Its getting to the point that tv is not for black people and it saddens me. To take away the only current black shows let’s me know that the CW does not care about us or what we like to watch. I hope BET does pick up The Game so we can laugh in the CW’s face. Thanks CW for letting us down.

I can’t believe the network canceled The Game. Everyone in my network of friends tuned in each week to see what was new with the tale of the San Diego Sabers. It was the first time, in my opinion, that they “script writers” depicted Afro American women in a truthful light. It was great TV.

I feel that the game should not have been canceled. this is undercover racism. everytime african americans have a sitcom to look foward to its taken away and with out notice at that. i mean seriously why the hell do we need to bring back melrose place and 90210???. you get rid of something new and that alot of people can relate to for a show with rich brats fighting over popularity,sex, money and drugs? we are in a reccession damn near no one lives like that any more!!! we are in the 21 centery and things still havent changed. i pray that BET does pick the show up. i am extremely upset with the CW and they will never have to worry about me watching anymore of their shows and i will also inform my friends and family members.

I will miss Everybody Hates Chris. It was a refreshing, likable comedy with a great wit about it. it was nice that the family was African American, but they were appealing because they were such genuine characters. We all know people like them, of all colors. Anyone of any race could identify and there were other characters of other races in the weekly cast. I will miss the great comedic timing of the young cast and the cameos made by so many great actors. Sad to see it go.

The Game should not have been cancelled. It was the only thing that I had to look forward to on Friday nights. Now there are no black sitcoms that I can watch and relate to, except for Half and Half, and that comes on around 2:30 am. What is up with all these white shows, and no shows for other cultures. I’m tired of seeing the teeny bop, rich white, Clueless type shows on tv. I just turn the tv off for now.

Can you NAME “Those” black sitcoms that are new and are not on paid cable?
Besides one; there is no ongoing black sitcoms at the moment.
Take notice that “those” sitcoms were also canceled, even though they got good ratings. So what we are seeing are reruns.

Um… because white people already have all these things. Minorities: Latino, Asian, Black etc. Have to go through hell to get their own network and TV shows. It is no secret that networks don’t enjoy keeping shows that have a large minority cast and only attract a minority audience. They want mainstream appeal, and that is whites… specifically “white female Teens and Women”. Was there any reason to bring back 90210 or Melrose Place?

Well, I personally hate “The Game” was canceled. I saw it coming once the network moved the show to Friday Night. Everybody knows that Friday is high school football night ! As far as there being a lot of black sitcoms on TV, where are they? Constant repeats of Tyler Perry’s sitcoms does not constitute a lot. CW obviously does not value African American or any minority support.

Once again I have been let down by the CW. I gave up on you guys when you cancelled Girlfriends without a finale which was wrong in so many ways I feel if you cancel a show you should at least end it right they deserved a finale. Then you do this…you not only cancel the Everybody Hates Chris, but you up and cancelled the Game. Silly Silly people. I am an black female in my late 20’s and in my opinion it seems every time you have a show that has a predominately black cast they seem to be the one on the chopping block. These were great shows,great writing,great plots,great humor,and real. I understand you are trying to reach the young female fans but it looks as if you are trying to reach the young “white” female fan base and it is unfornuate because now you may lose a way larger fan base in the african american viewers, and older viewers, and those who prefer a little comedy in their life. I hope this decision works out well for you. Tyra is not going to keep me a fan of the CW, she is just that percentage to say you support a more diverse audience, it’s so sad.

I loved the Game and Everybody Hates Chris. it is a shame that African americans are always the shows that get cancelled. It may not be intentionally but those shows were the only reason why I watched the CW and it looks like I wont be anymore. These were great shows and for the CW to cancel them along with the other shows just to gain young females you will lose a whole lot more viewers, a more diversed audience just to please one small group. Good Luck with your choices I hope they work out. I’ve seen them and they won’t last long, they can’t compete with the other networks.

I absolutely loved ‘The Game’. It should not have been cancelled. I watched all the episodes faithfully even when the air times changed. I will not be watching the CW this fall because everytime I find a show that I really like, it gets cancelled. I am sick and tired of Tyra and her aspiring models, why is that show still on? This is total crap. Reaper was an excellent show and could have lasted for a long run. It’d be even more popular if they’d do 2 showings per day so that people who missed the early one could see the later one, etc.. When a show only comes on in one bracket it’s harder to see every episode.

My two favorite shows THE GAME and ONE TREE HILL
im not sure if one tree hill is being canceled but i did hear Hilarie Buron and chad michael murray wont be in season 7. This doesnt make since they are one tree hill they make the show , ata the very least they shld be kept on for guest appearances i love them and i do not want to see them go.
as far as THE GAME goes im so pissed at the CW the reason ratings went down and arent up for the game is they were given a crap time slot i missed almost the entire last season of the game because i thought it was canceled i didnt even know they switched the show to friday until someone told me, listen up CW if you want to keep viewers heres what u need to do esp for shows like the game..CW… YOU NEED TO ADVERTISE BETTER !! I can’t stand it!!!! Why do all my favorites get cancelled. Reaper was one of the few tv shows my husband and I actually watched together. This is a HUGE mistake. Now there is only one good show on your station….Supernatural….your number one show…..maybe you should take a hint from what works.

Reaper is a funny supernatural. Very few shows make me laugh and this one was great.

I am seriously sad to hear Privileged was cancelled. I don’t think the promotions adequately displayed how the show could appeal to the younger viewers. I truly believe with better promotions to bring in viewers, this series could have succeeded. It was one of just a few shows that I found different and interesting. It appears that the CW is only interested in keeping shows that push the envelope too far (ex. 90210), rather than a true family show like this one.

Please, please, please don’t cancel Reaper. It is one of the shows that my daughter and I watch together. She is 14 and is starting to drift away from family time, so watching Reaper is one of the few things left that she enjoys doing with the family. Please bring it back!!! We love it!!

Reaper might still live again: Everything we’re hearing is sounding GOOD for the syndication deal for Reaper Season 3. People have had very positive responses from CW affiliates they’ve written. Today we received word that two of the biggest Tribune-owned CW markets in Texas are interested, and since Tribune owns a boatload of affiliates, it’s thought if the Tribune stations come on board, Season 3 is a lock. If you’re concerned about how show creators Fazekas & Butters’ new contract at Fox will affect the show, or Tyler Labine’s new series, we have updates on that too.

Why the hell did they cancell Reaper??? It was a good show with solid writing and an original concept, executed perfectly. It blended comedy, drama and even occasionally some action. The show never really got a fair shake on the CW, and I can only hope that it gets picked up by a network that would give it every opportunity to develop the strong fanbase it needs. My favorite show, and the only one I’ve recently watched live to try and help ratings, has just been cancelled!

Reaper, you will be missed!
