I am very upest that CBS cancelled Without A Trace. I feel they made a very big mistake. I think Without A Trace is a better dectective show than Cold Case. Also I hope that ABC brings back Samatha Who.

Jason…you’re an idiot. It is obviously clear you haven’t even watched NCIS or Numb3rs, as they are shows just like the UNIT….good dramas. they have nothing to do with Boy likes girl sitcom garbage, so get your head out of your nether region and stop spouting garbage.

I can agree with you that crap reality shows like survivor and others should be canceled, as well as EVERY sitcom ever made, but numb3rs is educational at the very least, and NCIS is just as good as the UNIT was.

Please someone tell me how all of these shows are still around and great shows like the UNIT are cancelled…How I Met Your Mother, Medium, The Mentalist, NCIS, The New Adventures of New Christine, Numb3rs, Rules of Engagement, Survivor, The Big Bang Theory, Gary Unmarried. All the sitcoms nowadays are the same. Boy likes girl, girl acts like she doesnt like boy, makes boy jealous, boy sleeps with someone else, girl gets mad, boy and girl finally hook up. And the Medium, come on, if NBC cancelled it, why did you have to pick it up, you could have left it alone and taken that money to put towards the UNIT. All these networks keep crap on and get rid of the good shows, thank goodness for movie channels and sports!

I just have to say that taking the Unit off the air is one of the biggest mistakes you could make. Being in the military my self it is very refreshing to be able to sit with my wife and watch a show that we can both get in to and have a good laugh one minute then turn right around and say WTF the next minute! The show needs to come back!

I absolutely hate that Without a Trace was cancelled. And if Three Rivers is cancelled,
I may never watch CBS again. The whole world isn’t interested in ridiculous comedies,
which is the direction CBS seems to be going.
You would be in BIG TROUBLE if it weren’t for Big Brother, Amazing Race and Survivor,
since you want to cancel the good drama type shows.

When we heard that they are cancelling the unit myself and my husband were so dissappointed we are just in our early forties so it not just fifty fives watching and we r living in great britian, not to mention the other people who is watching here, these days most of what is on telly cant watch because of the swearing. Anything that is good never last, aint that the case …we are truly dissappointed.

Wow CBS is making some real bad choices! First with the cancellation of Guilding Light and now I just learned about The Unit and Without a Trace as I have been waiting for the premiers to come on and decided to investigate. This is just horrible. At least with Guilding Light we all had plenty of time to say goodbye and get over the loss but we are all left hanging with The Unit and Without a Trace. I am very disappointed in CBS.

I am on fire about the unit being canceled I just found out today nov. 4th. I had my dvr set up from last season and kept checking to see when a new episode was coming on. I’m also upset about w/o a trace both shows were FA-BO-LUS.
Why would cbs leave the fans hanging without a series finale. If it wasnt for the csi shows I would stop watching cbs.

the unit was no doubt my favorit show on tv. Also, it was my wife’s fav as well. It was a show with it all. Great actors with 2 to 3 different story lines going on at the same time. They say it was the ages of the viewers that was one of the reasons the show stopped. I am in my early 30’s while my wife in her 20’s. We both have several friends that is around our age that is missing the show. It always seems when finally a good show that is worth watching comes out they end it. We own all 4 seasons on dvd and have already watched season 4 two times. Bring back the Unit. Please!!

It was a BIG mistake to cancel The Unit!! The Unit helps military families understand and cope with their loves ones who are deployed and those who lost loves ones because of the war. It was truly one of the better dramas that has been produced in a long time! I would rather have seen the networks lose the reality shows!

Worst mistake…. cancelling the Uint. I don’t understand why they would be stupid enough to cancel a show that was this well written and exciting to watch.

Best decision: picking up Medium. That other network are fools for letting this show go!

I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why my DVR wasn’t taping new episodes of Without a Trace. I knew I had it listed to record all new episodes, just like it’s done for many many years. Then I couldn’t even find it manually on DVR or with the guide on my dish. I then go to CBS to see what the heck is going on and find out they cancelled it. What the heck. That show was awesome. I was really looking foward to another season full of drama and “who done it’s”. They finally marry Danny and Elana, they break up Jack and Samantha again and then quit. CBS, if your intentions were to cancel the show, your finale last year could have been alot better when it comes to the intimate lives of the characters. I truly wished you would change your minds and bring it BACK!!!!!!

As a military veteran, I am disappointed that CBS cancelled The Unit. I think it helped to keep Americans aware that we have men and women serving our country in ways that cannot be appreciated, acknowledged or understood. Shame on CBS. Such a great cast with great connectivity. Bring it back or at least develop another good military show, not NCIS/CSI/crime drama wanna be’s, but a show truly about military life. The entertainment industry/media needs to do more to raise respect and awareness of our troops on primetime TV.

CBS has made a huge mistake cancelling The Unit. It is, in my opinion, the equivalent of FOX’s 24. The unit is all around an amazing show. It has great acting, great storyline, and every episode always keeps me on edge. I never missed a single episode. I’m 17 years old, and since it has been on for 4 seasons, that must mean that I was about 13 years old when I began watching it. It was my favorite show then and it is my favorite show now. How’s that for demographics there CBS?

The Unit was the most unique show on tv. With an outstanding cast I looked forward to watching the Unit every week to see what would be next. I am really disappointed that CBS cut the most anticipated and best show of the week for me. I can’t believe that CBS picked up Numbers (boring) the Medium not much better, to replace the Unit.

Other networks have a lot better shows on now. “How It’s Made” “Extreme Loggers” and
“Deadliest Catch” are three of them. I never explored a lot of other channels. I have sattelite tv now and luckily don’t have to rely on CBS.

I do not watch CBS very much anymore.

The Unit was the best series on TV. We are shocked it was cancelled. Without a Trace is also a great program. What is CBS thinking. NCIS LA is lousy, even Linda Hunt can’t bring this up to parr. It’s just so unbelieveable and corny. We just turn the channel. The Good Wife is a good program but still can’t get over losing the Unit and Without a Trace. This just forces us to go to cable channels and see what they have on.

Cancelling the Unit and Without a Trace was a big mistake for the Net work. Where these shows were scheduled was the problem not the Shows. Many people recorded them. They were good television!

I can not believe that The Unit ( I LOVE ) and Without a Trace (also like allot) have been cancelled! Is CBS crazy? I was wonderwing why the new seasons for both have not been on and now I know. Very Sad especially about the UNIT. Most of the new shows are crap and I have not cared to watch any of them except for The Good Wife (love it so far)
Please bring back THE UNIT!!!!!!!! That show always kept me on edge of my seat, very suspensful. Also Without a Trace is a very good show because its stuff that can happen and makes people more aware. I actually just watched the season finale last night (backed up on my TVO recordings) and was wondering why it had not been on. CBS must bring them both back!

Whereas picking up ‘Medium’ is a stroke of genius, cancelling ‘Without a Trace’
in favor of ‘Cold Case’ is not. ‘Cold Case’ rarely airs in it’s time slot because of football,football, football at all costs. If CBS is going to schedule shows for the Sunday night time slot, then it should stick to the schedule. Otherwise, show nothing but football so viewers can adjust. It is ridiculous to go straight from one football game to another before airing 60 Minutes. No one wants to stay up until midnight to watch your ‘delayed’ shows. It’s all about the almighty dollar and getting the biggest share of the market. Give Sunday nights back to the viewer, not the sports conglomerate.
That said, Without a Trace is a huge loss. Why not put it back and get rid of NCIS:LA. What a ridiculous show that is!! TV doesn’t need another rapper who thinks he can act. Or another spin off of a spin off.

Two shows they cancelled that both have a HUGE cult following are Jericho, and Las Vegas. CBS is showing absolutely no sense in cancelling these two shows. Both shows were cancelled in the middle of a season, and they didn’t have an ending that made sense. They didn’t even put the shows on a decent time slot to see if they would have good ratings. Makes me think that maybe the other shows they cancelled might be worth checking out.

The reality shows are getting pretty boring and most are stupid, like The Amazing Race even tho it won an award. I’ve watched it twice and didn’t like it. I usually watch CBS most but with these programs gone I will watch less. You have really messed up dropping these shows. Do love Medium tho glad you picked that one up. We needed something good for Friday nights and Medium and Ghost Whisperer are GREAT!
