Behind the Scenes
The show was intended to be a midseason replacement but was moved up on the schedule after CBS cancelled the Ray Liotta series Smith after only three episodes.
Billed as “the next great medical drama,” the series was pulled off the air after three episodes and five never aired. Four episodes are available via iTunes. All eight episodes can be purchased through Amazon.com
The title of the show refers to the weight of the human brain.
Tucci began playing a surgeon on ER at the end of the NBC medical drama’s 13th season.
