So sad the show got cancelled. I started watching the show after John Ritter’s passing, so I never knew better. rewatching season 1 and 2 was so amazing. I too think they should continue at least 1 season.

Cate and Ed Gibb should work things out, and Ed would give up his job and slowly move in and get a real lousy job (maybe together with C.J.). Grandpa can continue as Cate’s father not fond of Ed and Cate (like Paul’s character was with his daughters and boys). And i think more focus on Rory hooking up more with girls and ******** up dates. Kerry and Bridget of course not THAT happy with Ed Gibb but near the end becomming OK with it.

Maybe a good flashback episode focussing on Paul. And bring back Kyle for Bridget or Kerry.

Don’t know…. I think there is enough to work with to still bring this show to a good end!

i think they should re-start it!! bridget and kerry still look young. caty seagal is pretty much immortal and still looks the same. although i have heard rumours of a spin-off MOVIE?! “8 simple rules for marrying my daughter” seems kinda corny, but i’d watch it since i was a HUGE fan of the show 4 years ago.

I Think they should bring it back! Its a shame it lost so many viewers, but i loved it and there will always be annoyed and dedicated fans who miss it,
badly.

I think it should have gone on for at least another season. To leave it on a cliff hanger probably dissapointed a lot of people who were fans. But since it has been 4 years I think they should come bck and finish it up.
