90210: Season Five Ratings

90210 ratingsBeverly Hills, 90210 ran for 10 seasons but, the way the ratings have been going, it doesn’t look like 90210 will last nearly that long. Will it be cancelled before it the series even gets a sixth season? We’ll have to wait and see.

The fifth season of 90210 typically airs on Monday nights on The CW network. The cast includes Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds, AnnaLynne McCord, Jessica Stroup, Michael Steger, Jessica Lowndes, Matt Lanter, and Gillian Zinser.

Here are the TV show’s ratings for the 2012-13 season, the best way to tell if 90210 is going to be cancelled or renewed for season six.

Year to year, the show was down by 56% in the demo (vs a 0.9 rating) and down by 42% in viewership (vs 1.61 million).

Reference point: The 2011-12 season averaged a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.34 million viewers.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

Please don’t cancel 90210 Love the show and would like to see a decent ending to it

I blame the network for their crappy ratings not the show itself. The time slot is awful and even DVR settings bite because its always difficult to find this show in a search feature. With better marketing or reminders to watch the show more viewers may tune in. Big Bang has a huge social media presence. CW used to be much more engaging in its efforts to promote the show. The cast is rarely seen anywhere mainstream to cross promote the show either. You need to do more than just put the show on television and wait for us die-hards to dial in. Very sad to see this one go. You had two generations of fans.

Please renew this is my favoritw show and the only one I look forward to watching and it’s getting more exciting to watch. At least give us a short final season like gossip girl. There will be nothing on cw I will want to watch other than 90210
