TV show supportEpisode 01-01: Friday, 9/23/11
The first episode registered a 1.4 in the 18-49 demographic and 9.45 million total viewers. It was in second place for the timeslot, behind Kitchen Nightmares in the demo. However, A Gifted Man easily won the timeslot in terms of total viewers, attracting nearly as many viewers as NBC, ABC, and CW combined.

Year-to-year, Gifted Man matched now-cancelled Medium’s demo number but improved on total viewership by more than 50%. CBS cancelled Medium with an average 1.4 rating so this wasn’t a great start.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

What do you think? Do you like the A Gifted Man TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?

Such a good show.. Why do they insist on cancelling decent shows and replacing them with sub standard.. Enough with canned shows like who is the boss

I also love the show. There is a warmth to it:) You feel connected to each of the characters. And I also believe there are too many reality shows.
It’s just nice to come home on a Friday evening and just sit back, relax and enjoy the show. I don’t know who they are polling because it seems like there are lots of people out there that really enjoy this show.

Oh , One more thing, Kate ‘s character rocks. Seriously she is a female version of Holt’s character. She has a confidence range the size of Texas. Recap-this is a family practice doc that can perform a emergency fasciotomy for compartment syndrome or a cholecystectomy and has absolutely no problem sparing with her peer, DR Holt when she thinks there may be other options. She is a stand out! Luv the character!!

The final episode left the door open for what ever . Is Anna gone? Kate and Michael refusing to give into their true feelings for each other. You still have tons of other potential issues, Rita ‘s history of alcoholism, Michael long lost mother, his disconnected relationship with his sister and nephew. This is a great show . The final episode did not bring closure to anything and I am just hoping this means a second season. CBS surely you would not leave the 9.7 million viewers hanging! Renew it !!! Please !!!

A gifted man is a great show, please do not cancel this series. It is different than any
other show on TV.

The show is awesome, and the cast is amazing. I think the show should have another chance and run at least a second season. It’s not crap tv for once. Run the show for a second season please!

Please renew this show. It is better than all the reality shows that just go on, and on and on about nothing. This at least has a story to it. Patrick Wilson is awesome as Dr. Holt. PLEASE PLEASE don’t cancel!!!! I look forward to Friday nights with Dr. Holt

I Love this show, and I would really hate to see it go. It seems like CBS is always setting you up for a let down, every show I get interested in always gets cancelled. Makes me want to quit watching any of CBS’s shows at all, always afraid they are going to cancel something.

keep it

Ron Collins March 3, 2012 at 2:14 pm

A Gifted Man ended the ‘season finale’ with many unanswered questions. My wife and I watch the show consistently, the cast is exceptional, and since it has moved it’s time slot to allow for the undercover boss (another reality show..don’t we have enough????) we do not watch CBC until 9:00 pm when we watch A Gifte man and Blood Bloods. Please DO NOT cancel this program There is much to be explored. Is Anna’s ghost going to be around since he woman who received her transplanted heart died. The Season Finale” seemed like the show has ended, an that would be ashame. Too many reality shows andnot enough shows like a Gigted man. Also where has CSI New York Gone. It seems the viewer is the last to know..one again>

Please don’t cancel this show, if you going to cancel some show cancel some of these reality shows, that have no purpose, you guys cancel the good shows and keep the ones that aren’t even real.

Debbra March 3, 2012 at 9:32 am

It is different than any other show I watch. It has reality, humor and I just love it.

Debbra March 3, 2012 at 9:29 am
