Lifetime has decided that neither of its freshman dramas are worthy of a second season. The cable channel cancelled The Protector in September and they’ve now canned Against the Wall as well.
Against the Wall stars Rachael Carpani as Abby Kowalski, a single cop who joins the Chicago department’s internal affairs division. The series’ co-stars include Andrew Walker, Brandon Quinn, Chris Johnson, Daniel Kash, James Thomas, Kathy Baker, Marisa Ramirez, Mayko Nguyen, Steve Byers, and Treat Williams.
Debuting on July 31st, the show attracted a mediocre 1.8 million viewers with a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic, about on par with The Protector. Unfortunately, the numbers didn’t improve throughout the season. The 12th and 13th episodes (now the show’s last) aired on October 23rd. They each drew 1.4 million viewers and 0.4 demo ratings.
Lifetime recently ordered 10 more episodes of successful (and likely ending) Army Wives and also has Drop Dead Diva to help launch new shows. The cable channel has ordered The Client List, with Jennifer Love Hewitt reprising her role from the successful movie. Lifetime also has a few pilots on tap like Modern Love starring Eric Stoltz, American Housewife with Melanie Griffith, and Sworn To Secrecy, a movie and back-door pilot that stars Neve Campbell.

I freaking loved Against The Wall!!!!! I even got my roommate to watch it too! Please bring it back. I wanna know who Abby chooses. It’s bugging me to not know. BRING IT BACK!!!

Very disappointed to find out that Aganist the Wall has been canceled. I have been looking forward to it since the finale. I guess we’ll never know who Abby chose. Why do they get rid of all the good shows!
Up against the wall was a great tv show and was definitely worth a few more seasons. Hopefully the entire cast will find new shows and continue their careers. Great acting, great show. Please rethink.
I’m so disappointed Against the Wall is not returning!!! I was dying to see who Abby invited for dinner – wh/guy she chose! I thought it was a good show and really looked forward to watching it Sunday nights. What a shame.

Loved Against The Wall. Sooo disappointed that it was cancelled. The client list doesn’t hold a candle to the show. BRING BACK AGAINST THE WALL
I am so frustrated that there is no season 2 of Against the Wall. It was my favorite new show!!! Why didn’t they give it more of a chance? This is so ridiculous!
My husband & I were/are HUGE fans of the tv series Against The Wall and have been wondering when Season 2 will start. I decided to check it out on the internet and now we are both extremely disappointed to learn that Lifetime canceled it. We hope Lifetime will reconsider and bring it back. We’re still waiting to find out who showed up at Abby’s door and which beau she picked!!
I’m really disappointed that Against the wall was cancelled. I thought the show was very entertaining! Love the actress that played Abby (Rachel Carpani) and I think Treat Williams is terrific! Lifetime – Please reconsider!!
I just found out about a week ago that Against the Wall and the Protector were CANCELED. I was totally bummed. I thought they were both GREAT shows!! I wish they would concider bringing them back

My and husbands favorite new show. Don’t cancel it. Try another time slot another day. At least pick one one more show to end it properly. For the fans who watch Lifetime.
I am so bummed to here that this was not picked up for another season. I loved this show! The characters were so likeable…with all the reality crap on tv, I can’t believe an original show like this was canned…that is so upsetting
My family looked forward to seeing the show every week last summer and were so looking forward to season 2. It is such a shame it was canceled. The Client List isn’t nearly as good as Against the Wall, in fact, no one in the family will watch it. Poor choice Lifetime.
