Here are the ratings for the Alcatraz TV series. Some 50 years ago, more than 300 prisoners and guards disappeared from the world-famous prison. Now, they’re reappearing and don’t seem to have aged a day. The first season of Alcatraz typically airs Monday nights on the FOX network.
These are the TV show’s ratings for the 2011-12 season, the best way to tell if Alcatraz will be cancelled or renewed for season two. Check out our FOX ratings report card to see how this show’s numbers compare with the others on the network.

Just like “Firefly”. Ok so make a movie and give us fans some closure.
You should not cancel Alcatraz!!
This constant axing of shows we are just getting addicted to really annoys me, think ‘John Doe’, ‘Dollhouse’ and now ‘Alcatraz’. It is doubly annoying when we are left with cliffhangers that we never get to see the end of. How would you feel if you bought a book only to find out the second half was missing? I just saw the episode 13 of series one of Alcatraz, and came on here to see when the new series would begin. I am totally disgusted to find out ‘it won’t’ and I am none the wiser as to what the whole story was about and how it would end. I am never going to get involved in any of these types of series again until I see the re-runs are scheduled, and then I can check if there was a new series made after the original before I get into the first one.
Terra Nova, now Alcatraz. I believe somebody really needs to look at these TV people who decides what stays and goes and cancel them. Is Missing next? Remember Surface on NBC, what was wrong with that show. That’s probably why we only get 10 ep isodes now instead of 22 like Smallville. All this reality TV making obnoxious and bad attitude with wrong thinking known or seen needs to be cancelled. Rather than a show that can have good story telling abilities with decent upbringing moral attitudes. What is society being visually fed these days.
Again another show that uses your wits and brains and leaves out sex, or sexy bodies and stupid reality bullcrap. Why or why do they win over good shows like this and Missing.
RENEW ALCATRAZ
ALCATRAZ SHOULD BE RENEWED. IT IS RIVETING, WELL WRITTEN AND THE BEST DRAMA TO COME ALONG IN YEARS.
Please don’t cancel Alcatraz. It’s one of the best shows on tv. So many of us are amazed at such a quality show in this last decade of absolute garbage. (way too many reality shows)
It’s very refreshing to have good things to watch for a change. We hardly watched tv before this year. Other favorites are Once Upon A Time (very family oriented), and The Firm.
It sucks. Hook you in for 13 weeks and BAM! Dropped like a hot potato. Some of us find it entertaining to actually use our brains. We like the mystery of programming like this and look forward to guessing the solution, unlike who’s going to lose the most weight or get the next big recording contract. Really? Is that really all the networks have to offer us? Sucks.
I’m surprised Advertisers and Nielsen ratings system targeting people whom watches live Television . Advertiser should realize this group of people maybe poor and maybe unaware of advance technological R MAYBE too doped up to operate new technology . These people r picking what is going on -Networks air! Live watchers are dumbing up the our networks. They cant even follow simple series cuz series r too complexes for reality addicted people. If these live people r to dumb or to doped up follow series shows _then they can’t even get what the commercials rabout r what they r selling.
Loved the show…..need to know what the heck the answers are!!!! Don’t leave me this way.
Finally find a show you love and then this?
Damit, I love this show!
We liked it; please don’t cancel Alcatraz. We watch ZERO reality shows. We also liked Terra Nova.
Dang! Poor Sam Neill….between this and Happy Town (both shows that had great promise but took a bit too long going for it to keep the masses watching) he’s not doing so well on the TV front these days. Wonder if this could move to another network – SyFy perhaps?
