TV show description:
Based on the Green Arrow superhero from DC Comics, this TV series follows the tale of billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). After being involved in a violent shipwreck, he’s presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote Pacific island.
When Oliver returns home to Starling City, he’s welcomed by his devoted mother Moira (Susanna Thompson), his beloved sister Thea (Willa Holland), and his best friend Tommy (Colin Donnell). They sense however that Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he’s become, he desperately wants to make amends for the selfish actions he took as a boy.
Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy). As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory.
By day, Oliver plays the role of the wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be — flanked by his devoted chauffeur and tough-as-nails bodyguard, John Diggle (David Ramsey). While doing this, he carefully conceals the secret identity he uses under the cover of darkness.
Laurel’s father, Detective Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), is determined to arrest this Arrow vigilante that’s operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver’s own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she’s let on and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine.

I’m in my sixties and I grew up reading my brothers comic books. I really enjoy watching Arrow. Please continue the series.
This show is one of the best! This dc commics show is fun, entertaining and it has been amazing how all the characters and of course Arrow/Oliver Queen have changed since the beginning of this series. I plan to buy all the DVD’s available so I can watch again from the beginning. It will be interesting to watch from the start knowing what I know now. I’m 69 years young and I look forward to seeing the show each week and “bite at the bit” between seasons. I also like the way the show has evolved; the writers sure put… Read more »
More drama than I expected from a TV series
I love this show they are great actors and this is a great show….. Keep it going
Yes this show should be renewed!
I absolutely love this show. It is one if the best shows on TV. The acting is excellent and the filming is first rate. It is done with quality and creativity . Keep it going by bringing on other Marvel characters like you did with Flash. My son tells me that it is Arrow and Batman who finally deal with a rogue Superman. I’d love to see you develop this with the current cast.
Arrow is a very entertaining and exciting series with just enough but not too much romance. I believe there is opportunity for the writers and producers to continue the series for at least another season, perhaps more. If it isn’t renewed, I’ll put Deadeye on your trail!
I don’t get why they have to keep canceling good shows they have done that with way to many shows… good shows they should continue season 4
I love Arrow
Definitely continue Aries
I love this show! It wasn’t on tonight and I was really disappointed . Please continue the series.
