Michelle Hurd has been cast in a regular role for the second season of the Ash Vs Evil Dead TV series, on Starz. As pictured above, Hurd played Colleen Manus on The Glades TV series, which was cancelled by A&E in 2013, after four seasons.
Deadline says Hurd will play Ash Williams’ (Bruce Campbell) high school sweetheart. The cast of Ash Vs Evil Dead also includes Lucy Lawless, Ray Santiago, and Dana DeLorenzo. A couple of weeks back, Starz announced Lee Majors and Ted Raimi were joining the series in season two.
Recently, Hurd has recurred as Renee Grover on Hawaii Five-0 and had a guest appearance as D.A. Samantha Reyes during the first season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones on Netflix. She also filled recurring roles on Devious Maids, 90210, Gossip Girl, ER, and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.
