Awkward season fourThe misadventures of Jenna Hamilton will continue. MTV has renewed Awkward for a fourth season.

In addition, the cable channel has announced that Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler will replace series creator Lauren Iungerich as showrunner. Iungerich left the show at the end of season three. The pair previously worked on 90210 and Reba on The CW.

The renewal was expected but MTV programming chief Susanne Daniels had maintained that they wouldn’t be making an announcmeent until a new showrunner could be found.

I think there should be awkward until Jenna is out of collage. I’m really hooked and a lot of my friends are and I hate when a series gets really good and then they end it. I think you guys should show us her struggles threw out her collage experience. I wanna know what will happen with matty and stupid Eva. And if Jenna ends up with Luke, matty or someone new. I hope you guys choose to make a few more seasons. Ill tell you what, I’m not buying them unless there is high school and collage. I love awkward.
