I SECOND that opinion! And with both shows too!

It is an awesome show with a VERY convincing cast! And to those who say “Well, if it’s supposed to be a prequel to Norman Bates’ Psycho, then why do they have cell phones?”
Really? It’s Hollywood people . . . they can make it look like dinosaurs are roaming the earth.

Keep up the good work and way to go with the renewal!

It’s not working. The characters are mis-cast. Tony Perkins as the original Norman is too emblazoned in our minds to accept anyone else and the mother is too young and not eccentric enough. I thought the original mother was around 65 or 70, but she was dead. The new mother is not how I imagined the old mother to be if she had been younger. It just doesn’t work but I haven’t yet stopped watching it because I want it to work. Definitely no second season.

You are supposed to view this show with an open mind and not expect an exact remake of Alfred Hitchcock “Psycho” identical in details to the last thread. Most of the people who have seen Psycho would’t show much interest or curiosity towards this matter. It’s made in a contemporary time period to draw more audiences in with a refreshing tone, with surprises and plot twists and turns to keep the audience always wondering of the next step.

Was starting to be another “teen” show but the last epy shows that there’s something weird with the town. Might be worth watching a little longer.
