Batman: The Brave and the Bold: Win Season One, Part Two on DVD

Batman Brave and the BoldBased in part on the classic “team-up” comic book series, Batman: The Brave and the Bold features the caped crusader partnering with lesser-known heroes from the DC Comics universe. The series has introduced many classic superheroes to a new generation of viewers. In some cases, this is the first time these characters have ever been animated. Batman faces any peril -– including other heroes stealing the show -– in his relentless pursuit of justice.

Warner Bros. has released a new collection of 13 episodes from the second half of season one. The two-disc collection features the Dark Knight working with heroes like Aquaman, Plastic Man, Blue Beetle, Red Tornado, Green Arrow, Wildcat, Deadman, Bronze Tiger and Atom. They take on an array of evildoers ranging from mad scientists to intergalactic crooks, from power-mad dictators to out-of-control teenagers.

    May I add I’m meant to be studying but I’m just thinking about Batman? ahahaha I’m kidding, but seriously could Batman be any cooler? I just realised how charming he is :’)

    I love Brave and the Bold and have many of the old Brave and Bold Comic Books in my collection. Batman has always been my favorite and when I was little I was Batman and my little brother was Robin. I am now 47 so you can see how long I have been a fan of Batman. I can’t wait until Dark Knight Rises next year. Also very excited with all the Superhero movies this summer!!!!

    I really love this show…it presents a lot of heroes from DC that the younger audience isn’t aware of…like Metal Men, Booster Gold, etc. Here’s hoping to win!!!

    was happy to see many heroes that had smaller followings make an appearance & get a new generation exposed to the likes of Plastic Man, Blue Beetle (although a new-ish hero; you do get a rundown on the previous Beetle’s) as well as many more “Old Friends” that had never been animated before…
