While these numbers were still very good, Beauty and the Beast won’t survive if its numbers fall like Secret Circle’s did.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

I really do like Beauty and the Beast. Hopefully it isn’t cancelled so soon and is given the chance/time to show some of it’s improvements. Even from the first to second episode, there was improvements in the acting and writing. Of course, there is going to be improvements in the acting as the series goes forward and the actors become more familiar with one another. The story definitely has the potential to be really good, if they could just write it a little better…and maybe they have in later episodes. I just really hope we get to see, and it doesn’t end like the Secret Circle.
I do think that TSC started out much stronger, but it started to weaken as the season came closer to the finale. But, the finale really did seem to be back (finally!) to being as good as the beginning of the season, and had such potential for some great plots for the second season…ones that I was really really excited to see…And then they cancelled it. That was too epic of a finale to just end it there. Seriously, what were you thinking, CW?!
I really wish they would bring TSC back, but that’s probably never going to happen…So, I just hope they don’t end up making the same mistake with BatB.

Like, definitely like. At last, a good and capable staff gave an extreme, touching and pretty new face of the story we all know. Nice twist, built in the nowadays life we all have, more or less. The story must go on, not just one more season, much more. It deserves to live! The lessons, which the 21 century fairytale gives us are so penetrating, that it makes you shiver and think “What if “you were in the situation?! Powerful, sensitive and stunning!

the action and suspense just wasn’t at a pace that attracted me to the next episode. This series should not be a procedural mixed with this horror/sci-fi feel to it. i only watched the original series because of the fantasy and awe i felt as each episode explored the underground tunnels and because of the strong romantic chemistry between Kahterine and Vincent. This remake has none of those elements going for it. Kristin Kreuk does have some good acting qualities, but Beauty and the Beast is not the show that will allow her to show those qualities off. i would rather see her in a comedy or something a little more tongue and cheek. sorry but I think Beauty and the beast will get cancelled.

I think Beauty and the Beast as a show is greatly improving. The pilot was okay with a lot of potential. But the second episode was actually really good. Hopefully more people will tune in and give it a chance! As for the Secret Circle, it started off strong but then it just kept getting weaker as a show. I grew up with the books, they were my favorite, BUT the writers just didn’t get how to tell the story. Sure, you can change the source material, but if you’re going to make the ideas better, not more boring. By the end, the show just irritated me. I think BATB will have a different effect. I think they will continue to improve with each episode and be closer to a Moonlight type series. But for the people who loved Secret Circle, I get it! It sucks to lose a show you love. It’s happened to most of us. I’m still bugged about Moonlight and Veronica Mars!

Beauty and the Beast is a terrible show. The storyline is so cheezy, the actors are all wrong, and there is no chemistry between Kristen Kreuk and the main character guy. She is not believable as a supposedly tough NYC detective. She’s too tiny and skinny, no way, you won’t find a female detective in NYC that looks like that, she looks like a 15 years old also. What a terrible story. Terrible job CW to tap into a sensitive and played out 9/11 story, very very unoriginal. They should not have tried to remake this classic from the 80’s. This show will be canceled you will see. They should have never canceled The Secret Circle, it still has a loyal fan base and was growing. The CW made a terrible mistake because the show was getting better. The CW gave TSC too many breaks, and therefore people forgot it was on, or did not know when to keep up. That’s the real reason the ratings dropped. The actors were better on TSC, you had people of all ages watching TSC. Bring back The Secret Circle Season 2!!!!!

We`ve all seen witches, magics and thing like that, Minmin, Carrie and the rest of you, who are complaining and trying to rebel against something new, fresh and totally different from all the movies we have seen. Why don`t you give it a try, let it to live? Instead of being rude to this new born and revived story, I think you should be patient and realistic- relationship and beings like in the “BATB” are much more real and useful rather than “Abra -caddabra” . Besides, what will you learn from TSC? What can you take from there and blend it in nowadays? Don`t be so judgy and please , act like adults, not like kids, whose toy is out of stock. The “Beauty and the beast” has its own beauty, in more bigger sense, so stop manipulating the others. And if you do not like something-well- Do it and show it your way, its always very easy to criticize rather than improve the item or the issue ;)
