While these numbers were still very good, Beauty and the Beast won’t survive if its numbers fall like Secret Circle’s did.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

“Beauty & the Beast” should NOT be cancelled. This show has just won the People’s Choice Award for the “Best New Show”!! It is without a question that this show is a Fans Favorite. It has a timeless love story and action. There is abundant chemistry between the two leads, Kristin and Jay. The storyline is intriguing and captivating. Also, on Thursday at the same time slot, .”Beauty & the Beast” goes against two top shows, “Persons of Interest” and “Gray’s Anatomy”. Most of all, my entire family watch this show weekly because it is NOT full of gruesome or violent scenes.

Please don’t cancel this show. CBS cancelled “Moonlight” in May, 2008 after just one season. That year Twilight came out, and HBO’s True Blood. The later is still on and Mick St. John was the best vampire in my opinion to this day! BATB is not trying to be a remake. It’s a reboot just like Hawaii Five-O. It’s updated with a new twist. Would McGarrett & Danno look good in raincoats on the beach in Honolulu today?! Give this show a chance. It has a good fan base. I love it!!!

i totally love this show. critiques may have technical concerns about it, but there’s something in it that keeps us viewers very interested. i’d be sad if it got cancelled. besides TVD, it’s one of the tv series i’m looking forward to weekly.
