just to let you know that when beauty and the beast started it was only supposed to last one season but because of the strong fan base and then thousands people had sign the petition for it to get a second season so we fans really want to see the show get a third season we have to sign that petition and write a letter to Mark Pedowitz

oh you guys i am worried we have to save Beauty And The Beast

CW: ‘Beauty & The Beast’ Is Certain To Be Canceled

When the CW announced its mid-season schedule ending the scheduled run for Beauty & The Beast on March 10th, with no scheduled return date for the remaining episodes that was the final nail in the coffin for the sophomore series (as if its CW lowest ratings weren’t enough).

When will the remaining episodes air? The bear has no idea. How many fantastic scenarios can delusional commenters come up with why the show isn’t certain to be canceled? The bear’s not sure he can count that high.

From now through the end of the broadcast season in May, the Renew/Cancel Index values will only be calculated using new episodes airing during 2014. However, until new episodes of a show air in 2014, the “old” Fall predictions will stay in the table.

This show has a strong fan base. It needs to be given a chance. The CW messed with the time slot this season. The show was pre-empted for football. The writers have messed with the vincat relationship that draws in the viewers. I still love this show and believe that it has all the potential to be even better than it is. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL! Give the show the support it deserves!

I agree with you Lois. Great show and it should be supported. It definitely should be renewed and given a 3rd season. It’s just taking off and they want to put it in the “Long Shot” category. Not fair to the fan base who love this show and want it to continue. I support your comment all the way.

The CW caters to the tweens and teenagers. This is why they are going to replace some of the more adult series with shows like Star-Crossed, The 100, etc. BatB is too adult and has a more mature fan base so this is why the CW is cancelling it. This is why TVD, Reign, The Originals, Carrie Diaries and Hart of Dixie do so much better than a mature series such as BatB. It’s really a shame, but I guess that’s the name of the game. So if you’re in your 30s, 40s, 50s, you’re out of luck because you won’t be getting a good drama/romance/sci/fi like Beauty and The Beast on the CW. Hopefully another network will pick this wonderful series up.

You should address your concerns directly to the CW. I think the link is @CW_net. @ CBS Studios. Anyway if you search those two links, I think it will bring you to their sites and you can leave a message just as you’ve done here, but this way, the CW will get how we feel about BatB directly. Maybe it will carry more weight. That’s what I’m going to do.

PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL!!! I, like many commented about above, watched the first season on Netflix in 2 days. I literally could not stop. I was also another addicted viewer that sought out the first few episodes of season 2 on random sites so that I wasn’t completely lost when I watched the others on the CW site. I am anxiously awaiting the rest of season 2 and would love it, like so many others, if this show was given a third season.

This is the best TV show I have ever watched, it shouldn`t be canceled. I love it! The producers should take into consideration our wish and renew it for a third season.

You’re so right and I couldn’t agree more. What a shame to cancel this wonderful series before it has begun to take off which it is now. It definitely should be renewed for a 3rd season. We have to start directing our concerns and hopes for a season 3 for BatB directly to the CW.

CW please don’t cancel this show, I love it. Watched the first season on NETFLIX in about 3 days, I looked up the first 3 episodes of season 2 on the internet and then watched the rest of the episodes from season 2 on the CW app. I will continue watching this show and I am actually considering changing cable companies just to be able to watch it LIVE when new episodes are available, please give the show a 3rd season like you did with TVD, which I must admit I didn’t really watch at first. B&B is just so addictive, I will be very SAD if it is cancelled.

  7. Biddy says

Love B&tB and if CW give it some more time it will do as good if not better than all those other shows. I think Beauty and the Beast would do good on a Wed or Thursday night. It would be a DISASTER to cancel…. No! Please do not cancel.

I adore this show!! I watched the first episode on Netflix when I was bored one day and could not stop! I watched 22 episodes in two days and spent another day combing through the net to find more. I eventually had to buy them off iTunes (I couldn’t find the first three of season two) and I NEVER do that. I don’t get the CW channel on my cable provider so I installed the CW app. I only hope they put new episodes up in a timely matter. I told my son if it comes to it I will send him to his dads and have him FaceTime me and prop his iPad up in front of the tv so I can watch it! I love this show! I can’t wait for January when it starts again! Please don’t cancel it!

  9. cassie says

Please don’t cancel batb!! I think I can speak for a lot of people when. I say I will be so sad if this show is canceled! Please give it a chance to get better ratings by giving it another season! I agree with others when they say they may stop watching the cw because it will be to depressing. :'(

  10. Cindy says

Beauty and the Beast is my favorite show! Do not cancel it! Jay Ryan is outstanding as the beast! I look forward to see what is happening next. I don’t know where you are getting your numbers. Do you check to see who records it? If you cancel it, I will boycott the CW!!!

    • says

I’m with you – and I will boycott the CW too and so will my friends. I really don’t like much of the other shows anyway. I love Beauty and the Beast and am addicted to each new episode and look forward to what’s happening in the next one. This show should be renewed for a 3rd Season. If it gets cancelled, I’m done with the CW.

Please don’t cancel BATB. I’m looking forward so badly to its return on Jan. 13th. This show has everything – action/adventure, a hint of scifi, a great love story and it’s just beginning to take off. The story line is well written and the cast of actors is great. The chemistry between Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan is wonderful – could watch them together forever. Please keep this show on the CW. The whole cast has come together and each episode is addictive. I really look forward to watching BATB after a hard day’s work because it’s a great escape for me.

  12. iliana says

It’s sooo addicting!! I watched the first season in a like two days. I just couldn’t turn it off. I kept saying to myself ” just watch one more, see what happens next..” Every episode was so interesting and unpredictable. It’s a great suspenseful show with great characters and actors. I would be extremely sad and upset if it’s cancelled!

Please Please Please Don’t Cancel This Show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At first, I didn’t think it was going to be all that great, but then I started watching it on Netflix a week ago and am now all caught up on season 2 in about a week. The chemistry that Jay and Kristin have on screen is absolutely amazing. The characters, the emotions, and the acting is all fantastic. I admit that when I was watching the first season, I wasn’t all that interested, but when you give this show a chance, it really turns into something amazing. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL!
