Big Brother 15 ratingsCBS started Big Brother earlier than usual this year so that it will run for 90 days. Is this too much Big Brother? Will the ratings fall? Cancelled or renewed for season 16? We shall see.

Big Brother typically airs three nights a weekTuesdays Wednesdays (veto), Wednesdays Thursdays (eviction), and Sundays. Below are the latest ratings for the “eviction night” episodes.

2.2 in the demo (-12% change) with 6.49 million (-10% change).
Season averages: 2.22 in the demo with 6.40 million.

UPDATE: CBS has renewed Big Brother for season 16 for next summer.

Compared to last year’s debut, Big Brother was down by 15% in the demo (vs a 2.6 rating) and down by 15% in viewers (vs 7.18 million).


Reference point: Last season, the eviction night episodes averaged a 2.2 rating with 5.99 million.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

    Like big brother but this season 15 very disappointed in the talk that was going on in the house. CBS seen like you was all for this mess that was going on.Ireally did like big brother.
