Just finished watching season 2. I didn’t even know this series existed! I purchased the season 1 DVD from walmart and was hooked!
What a great story line and cast. Why do they always cancel series that are actually great?

Really hope this show comes back. They have left the show at such a crucial moment that it would be a shame to cancel it. As soon as the seasons were available on dvd I snapped them up and always made sure to see the shows on tv/internet. Believe me, this is one of the many shows on tv now that I actually like. The rest make me lose interest so fast it is not even funny.

I have virgin in demand and have just watched almost all the episodes back to back. My daughter also loves this programme, she thinks Henry is cute. I just watched the last episode and cant believe that they have just left it the way they have and not made a follow up. Please make another series its brilliant. I have been watching being human which is about vampires and wherewolves living in normal society, however this is boring compared to Blood Ties.

Its a awesome series that best most shows now of days. I ask that the show returns to make season 3 even more awesome than it already is. Hello, I’m from Bulgaria and I can’t believe that there isn’t a 3rd season !!! I saw one episode on TV and yesterday and today I watched all of the episodes! This is one of the best… maybe the best film I have watched!!! I really, really want to see more … the underground mysterious and secrets, the jokes and quarrels between Henry, Vicki and Mike and of course to know what is going to happen with our lovely triangle… I hope soon there will be good news and there will be a 3rd season.

I have just watched all of Blood Ties to the end of season 2. It was fantastic! I love the will they/won’t they between Henry and Vicki… the finale was too much to bear what a way to end the season with no season 3 waiting in the wings. Surely from all the comments its easy to see this programme has quite a following and people would love to see more. Henry is a gorgeuos vampire character and much better looking than other vampire rivals on TV. I think the other characters are also brilliant and make this show what it is. Mysetery, suspense and the supernatural – brilliant! I hope that the canadians find an american TV channel that are willing to provide the extra funding needed to make a 3rd season. Twilight is great, but i detest that awful series called True Blood with a dodgy old vamp called Bill (lets face it, he is hardly sexy or appealing) I watched 2 episodes and i wasn’t impressed, Its far to over sexed and generally trashy, especially that horrible accent – yikes! Bring Blood Ties back now!!!

If you want to watch the second or the first season of Blood Ties go to http://www.mylifetime.com . You should be able to watch them if you have good internet. Then click on ‘ ON TV & VIDEO. Then you go to the right of the page and scroll down until you you see blood ties. It has a few commercials but it’s good quality.

I am getting ready to purchase season 2 today, I watched season 1 yesterday and was totally hooked. I am counting on them making a season 3. From what I understand from other fans they left it hanging at the end of the series.I really hate when they do this with series, people get hooked than they cancel it. They did this with Dead Like Me and Moonlight.It seems like they do this with most of the paranormal shows that are on tv, but not with reality tv. So I am really hoping this show will be diffrent and they will bring it back. I don’t see how they could lose any money in doing so, I know there are alot of fans out there me included.

Isn’t everybody tired of having good series cancelled without a conclusion? you watch each episode waiting for the bad guy to die, or the heroes to kiss, and then the tv station yanks the show and you are left in limbo. I think that we should boycott stations when they do this, so that they show some respect to the audience that help their shows win awards.

I emailed with lifetime and they said that they will not be bringing blood ties back for season 3. Honestly they didn’t seem to bothered by the fact that a lot of people are not watching lifetime due to them ripping it off the air waves. If you have concerns… the best thing to do would be to write to lifetime and show them (with the petitions) how many people they are pissing off. Or if you hate lifetime right about now… talk/ email the Sci-Fi channel and see if they will pick it up (since they need another american based company/channel). This all started because of the writer’s strike and it was horrible timing just like the Moonlight show. Get together and do what you can to prove that you still want a channel to continue the series… I’m guessing Sci-Fi would be a better choice.

I didn’t find Blood Ties until it was nearly finished and I discovered the books via the series. Since that time, the economy has collapsed, Television format has drastically changed in the US and I, along with millions of others, have discovered online broadcasts in lieu of no TV reception.

My budget no longer supports paying for cable or buying a new TV, but internet access is much less expensive and allows a far greater array of choices. So now, I can go to myLifetime.com and view full episodes of the entire series.

I hope that the show’s creators embrace the new realities of people’s viewing habits if/when they decide to continue with the story. Until that time I will continue to enjoy the books and run -screaming- from most of the fanfic that curiosity compels me to investigate.

This series had an excellent mix of thrill and romance. Normally I hate TV romances because they’re shallow and the lines are badly written and forced. On this show there was a real chemistry and it had a good enough plot so that I could watch it again and again. It was brilliant and had an excellent writer behind it, the actors were also expertly cast. I don’t see why Lifetime, ABC, or any television channel shouldn’t back this wonderful arrangement of thrills, romance, mystery, and even a bit of comedy. Please, for what it’s worth, if you have a logical thought in your head put it back on the air. Your ratings will, if anything, rise because of it.

I love Blood Ties. Just found it recently, after Lifetime made the inexplicable and to me at least, stupid decision not to renew the series. It was excellent! Far better than the unreality shows currently on Lifetime (hate those! So not fun to watch or real). Please, if there’s a network out there that wants to grab a great and loyal fan base as well as an amazing show, please pick up Blood Ties! I have to know how it ends after the last season finale. I’ve ordered Tanya Huff’s books, but of course the series is going to be different. Someone save it and I promise to watch and to force all of my friends to watch as well. Once they do, they’ll love it too!
