According to Bored to Death co-star Ted Danson, the cancelled TV series may not be totally dead. The show was canned after three seasons and 24 episodes back in December 2011.
While attending the Festival de télévision de Monte-Carlo for CSI, Danson reportedly told writer Pierre Langlais that a 90-minute TV movie of Bored to Death was “very probable.” He tweeted, “Ted Danson annonce un fort probable 90mn Bored to Death pour HBO ! #FTV2012″
No further details are available. Wondering what the movie could be about? There may be clues in series creator Jonathan Ames’ ideas for a fourth season.
Hopefully, for fans of the quirky series, this won’t be a repeat of the Deadwood movie fiasco.
