Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Season One Ratings

brooklyn nine nine ratingsSeveral critics have called Brooklyn Nine-Nine the best new sitcom of the season. Will viewers agree and bring big ratings? Or, will it be one of those “critical darlings” that ends up getting cancelled after one season? Time will tell.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine follows a wise-guy cop who’s always had his way after a by-the-book captain starts leading the precinct. The sitcom’s cast includes Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Melissa Fumero, Terry Crews, Stephanie Beatriz, Chelsea Peretti, and Joe Lo Truglio.

The higher a show’s ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better its chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically the following morning, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

My husband and I LOVE this show… we laugh throughout each episode and have awesome inside jokes due to it. We never want the show to end. Hilarious! :)

I guess I am the one speaking up to say the emperor has no clothes on! This is a terrible show with terrible acting. I don’t know why anyone would find it to be one of the best American comedies. Surely we have not become so jaded that we believe the ads about this show. All In The Family, Barney Miller, Seinfeld and many more are so far above this show it is ridiculous.

Best American comedy show for a long time – Going Full Boyle being the funniest episode which I’ve rewatched several times – please bring it back!

This is the best comedy on TV right now. Others are stale and at times boring, this show is refreshing and subtly hilarious. One thing is for sure. If you don’t like Andy Samberg, you will not like this show. I think he is fabulous and FOX would be insane to cancel after one season. Give them a second season and get this show on Netflix/Amazon and let people sit down and binge watch…that may help the ratings next year.

Overall FOX is a horrible network with no valuable programming. This is the only show that has me tuning into their network.

Don’t let it die like The Good Guys–which we really miss.B-99 is one of the best FOX funny shows–that keeps our TV on the channel!

If the show was more like a “Barney Miller” type of show, and more time for Terry Crews, I believe it would be a lock for many seasons to come.

I like Andre Braugher, but he shouldn’t be reduced to this dreck. Samberg is overrated because he was shoehorned into every skit on SNL. He is NOT funny. He needs physical “comedy” (Speedos, pajamas) to force a punchline. This will be easily tiresome and soon canx.

Brooklyn-99 is a very good show–it’s laugh out loud funny–but it’s hampered by a weak lead-in by the dreadful Dads. I’m not sure who’s doing the programming at FOX, but they’ve really painted themselves into a corner with this weak lineup. They should ax Dads–now!–and find a better night for B-99. It’s a great show and deserves better than to serve as the sacrificial lamb up against Agents of SHIELD. Are you listening, FOX? Morons.
