The network’s all-day CALL OF THE WILDMAN marathon led up to back-to-back season finale episodes, which each delivered nearly 1.3M P2+ viewers and helped Animal Planet rank among the top five ad-supported cable networks in the 10pm timeslot among M25-54 and M18-29. The week before, on August 26, CALL OF THE WILDMAN hit an all-time series high with the episode premiere of “Pig Wallow Predator,” delivering nearly 1.8M P2+ viewers.

The Planet plucks up a second season of 20 new half-hour episodes for 2013 of this immediate snapperlicious sensation, which nabbed 1M P2+ viewers in its first season. CALL OF THE WILDMAN ranks as Animal Planet’s top three series year to date among P2+ viewers, P25-54 and P18-49.

CALL OF THE WILDMAN is produced by Sharp Entertainment for Animal Planet. Matt Sharp is the executive producer for Sharp Entertainment. Dawn Sinsel is executive producer for Animal Planet.

Please haven’t we waited long enough, was so excited when Neil was talking about exciting 2nd season and they work so hard, but it seems like animal plant could go ahead with what they’ve film and do the rest later. It’s not like everyone is not going to have to watch the reruns for what seems like forever anyway. Let us see what you got. Thank you for having a down home real boy on tv

Wow. More garbage staged TV with abusive and reckless handling of staged captures. Laughing at a stereotype that spreads misinformation about how dangerous the animals are. Eight year old kids capture snapping turtles wow danger , danger , danger . Would be funny but I don’t support animal abuse. But apparently I support one of the cast members children with my taxes because he was arrested for non- support. Animal Planet and Turtlemoron have sold the viewers a bunch of lies. Google Turtlemans hometown it’s central Kentucky far from being wild. AP has a show called Fatal Attractions that puts down untrained and uneducated animal handlers . Then they promote reckless and abusive handling in their show hosts on Call of the Wildman and Rattlesnake Republic. Sad so many people enjoy viewing animal abuse. As far as relocating turtles I have seen his old you tube videos on how to cook snapping turtles and witness just two years ago Turtlemoron selling turtle shells. More lies from AP surprisingly stupid not human.

No animal abuse on this show whatsoever. They do whatever they can not to harm the animals they rescue. You certainly must never have watched the show to think any animal abuse takes place. They capture nuisance animals and release them into their natural habitat. So he eats turtle soup, just because he rescues snapping turtles doesn’t mean every turtle out there needs to be his best friend, get real. Our entire family loves the show, if you don’t like it, don’t watch it. End of story.

Abusive and staged action. Cornsnake capture by Turtleman was from Salato Nature Center. Swinging and picking up turtles by the tail tortures and injuries the animals. Untrained host that belongs on Animal Planets other show Fatal Attractions. If you enjoy animal abuse and misinformation support the cartoon stereotype Turtleman. The show is garbage and spreads misinformation for ratings. By the way are they not paying the cast well enough ? One was arrested for not paying child support. As far as handling animals I was catching turtles in college will doing research nothing the Turtleman says about turtles being dangerous to people or farm animals except ducklings is true. Live what a joke . Harassing animals is more like it. I am small woman that works with mambas etc for a living and have meet the Turtleman. Shame on Animal Planet for airing this garbage nd abusive show. AP surprisingly stupid not human.
