What are they thinking? This was the best show on television. They had a major hit in their hands and threw it out the window! Very poor thinking on the executives part. I am embarrassed for those responsible. I thought persons in their position were smart enough to recognize a ‘big hit’ show when it was right in front of them. I believe if they had put it at a better time slot (such as evening) the ratings would have went through the roof! Very poor job, exects. Hey…what about rerunning Campus Ladies in a better time slot and see what happens then? The show was promoted very poorly. I actually found it by accident and was a faithful follower from the first episode I watched…but the odd thing is, not one person I talked to about it had ever heard of it. Once they watched it the first time… they were also ‘hooked’. I am disgusted with everyone responsible for the cancellation of Campus Ladies! PLEASE give it a better second chance….you will not be sorry.

I agree with the previous poster Elizabeth, how many more of these ridiculous shows do you ppl expect us to endure. Campus Ladies was in a league all it’s own. I hope its okay to say that i am an african american on this blog, because it helps my point. the brazillian episode was extremely funny, but the very best was when the girls tried to join a black sorority. oh my gosh. oh my gosh. oh my gosh. i am 48 years old and of all of my 47 years of tv watching, this show was by far the very best in tv entertainment. The show was funny as hell, what in the world are you guys thinking. Tyra Banks forehead is so big she should event a cure for cancer with all of that brain matter, but did u all cancel her? NNNOOOO! The reruns of Badgirls are just as lame – the first season of badgirls was entertaining; the second season was scripted for ratings. But did u all cancel that crap? NNNOOOO! I didn’t get to see the second season because my cable company took away oxygen during its second year run. I’m still waiting for the dvd to come out.

Anybody here fans of Strangers With Candy? If you haven’t seen it, it’s out on dvd. It’s the same premise but in high school. A 40 year old high school dropout ex junkie ***** goes back to school. It’s way darker than campus ladies and it soooo funny.

I was wondering what happened. I didn’t hear this news from last year and wondered why Oxygen had brought it back yet.

The show was the only reason to watch the Oxygen channel. This was, in my opinion, their flagship.

This show was fabulous! I could not believe it when I heard it had been canceled—that would be like hearing the “I Love Lucy” show was canceled after two seasons. What a loss to the world of comedy. Shame on whoever is responsible for canceling this masterpiece—and, hopefully, they have been canceled. As I read former comments, I have to agree with most everyone—Oxygen doesn’t have much going for it. My husband who never watches tv loved it and we made sure we had no other plans when Campus Ladies was on. I no longer watch Oxygen at all and hope that somewhere down the road some smart network will pick up Campus Ladies—that is, if the actors are still willing to do it. If it was promoted correctly and put in a decent time slot, it would definitely be one of the hottest shows of all time and a classic.

I am also dismayed at the cancellation of this supremely hilarious series. What dipwad at Oxygen made that decision? Maybe they could bring back Campus Ladies and stop playing so many reruns of stupid brainless sh*t like Bridezillas and those other dumbass wedding shows. Who cares about that?

That aside, the person who wrote the article should make sure he/she knows peoples’ names before posting an article. It’s Maya Rudolph, not Randolph, as the article states. That’s rather insulting, I’m sure to her, but also to me. I’m a big fan of hers.

I have been wondering when the next season was going to start also! To hear it was cancelled is crazy. I’m not a big TV watcher to begin with, but the first time I saw this show I was hooked like many others. Oxygen will replay the Tyra Banks show every two minutes, but they couldn’t keep something this original and hilarious around?! Mindless people watching the incredibly “unreal” and “staged” reality shows rule the world and obviously the ratings. I never could understand why Campus Ladies was on at such an obscure day and time, when they could have a serious following by just a simple time slot move. So much for creativity and humor…everyone get in line and watch reality shows like the drones we have become.

Wow. This show convinced my boyfriend to watch Oxygen…I think he loved it more than I did. Unfrickin’believable that Oxygen canceled it. Like we need more room for that old lady to talk about sex. She doesn’t even understand the question half the time. I watched Joan and Barrie even at 11 p.m., the time change didn’t bother me. It was worth staying up for. Oxygen, you suck.

I’m so upset after hearing this! I have to say that I have found myself a little behind in the times considering I just found out about the cancellation of the show. I’ve been looking forward to the season premier since season two ended. I loved the show so much because of its originality and raw humor. I only wish more shows like Campus Ladies could make it and receive more publicity. I run into people all the time that had never heard of the show or didn’t know when it was on or else they would have watched it. I hope that oxygen reconsiders and gives the show another chance, although I know that once a network makes up their mind about something, it isn’t likely they’ll change it. I’m going to miss you Campus Ladies!!
