Cancelled or Renewed ABC TV Shows — 2010-11 Season

Cougar TownIs your favorite ABC TV show coming back? Has it already been cancelled? What TV series have already been renewed for next season? Well, wonder no more. Here’s a list of all of the regular ABC series that have aired (or are expected to air) during the 2010-11 season (that’s roughly May 31, 2010 to June 1, 2011).

Using this “cheat sheet” you can tell where your favorite ABC program stands; how many episodes are in the current season, when it’ll be back on the air and, of course, if it’s already been renewed or cancelled.

If you can’t find a particular ABC program on this list, it may have been cancelled last season (2009-10) or perhaps the one before (2008-09). For a list of cancelled shows from all networks, you can go here. It may also be possible that we missed something so feel free to let us know in the comments below.

I only watch 3 of the shows on the list, and 20/20 and Castle will still be around. sorry to see Supernanny rum ended, though

What is it with these BS reality shows that are not real to begin with….they keep coming back and yet good programs keep getting cut? Really!?!?!

Hello – The best show (not reality crap) is Castle (renewed), than comes body of proof (renewed) rough start but has gotten quite good. The third best show is easily The Whole Truth (cancelled) – HUH?!?!?!?!? I know the commercials SUCK!!! so they did not pickup enough viewers. Terrible commercials should NOT cancel a show. The studio needs to pretend it has more “BACK” or manhood to stand up for a sold TV series. MOST of the renew programs PALE miserably to The Whole Truth. The Whole Truth was well written and had GREAT character depth to each person on the show. The Whole Truth was also excellent in execution too. You LOVED EVERY SINGLE PERSON – PERIOD !!!

Well ABC has done it again! First they cancel One Life to Live on daytime TV and now Off the Map and Brothers and Sisters. You have now reinforced my decision to stop watching your station altogether. You get into a show, you get to know and like the characters and poof! they’re gone! Thank goodness for TNT, USA and Discovery for their unique and entertaining shows like Leverage, Burn Notice and Deadliest Catch. I swear I will never watch another thing on ABC. Soooo tired of all the trashy reality shows and idiotic game shows. ABC needs to give itself a reality check and find out what real viewers like to watch before they’re wiped Off the Map!

I just watched Better With You . I can’t stop laughing!!! I can’t believe it is not coming back. It was so different than most of the comedy shows!!! Bring it back!!!

Don’t see any thing I want to watch that you kept. But a lot you canceled, The gates was a good show, no ordinary family was a good show. I can see all the home makeover shows I want on cable channels, and your new shows what a joke! Just what we need more millon dollar shows, get real !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many of my friends and family are so disappointed that Brothers and Sisters has been cancelled! We hoped it would last at least a decade….. It was a nice change from all the reality shows around at the moment. Every week was a different drama. The actors were all exceptional, especially Sally Field. Oh well, at least we had a good 5 years …

ABC = Amateur, Boorish and Cheap.

“Reality” shows like Wife Swap (eeew!) and Extreme Makeover abound, while worthwhile (if more expensive) shows like Detroit 187 and Off The Map get the axe.

Do the network execs even WATCH these shows before they dump them?

Everybody is soooo sick of cancelled shows that no one will ever watch anymore…. I loved off the map, no ordinary family and the gates, i am so sick of cancelled shows that i am thinking to stop watching abc channel for good. U guys are making people depressed with endings like that. Honestly, I wouldn’t start any new shows at all… – cauz we all know that its not going to last more then a season! It’s a waist of time, money and nerves! Peace out!

From a psychologist who studies behavior and has two college sons with friends:

Everyone is so tired of Reality Shows and desperate attempts at 1/2 sitcoms or recreations of the same cop shows. People like grip, imagnation and anticipation which was why V was okay at first but too far fetched. You want a winner…bring back Flash Forward and keep the intensiity u had with episode 6 thru the end. It had everything. FBI/CIA, believable romance, quantum physics justifying paranormal., global interest,great characters and perfect episodic writing. Have it on at 9 /1o M,T or WED AND ADVERTISE and don’t try to play games and have it opposite Mentalisit or another hit. Write Two two hour premier movies for catch-up, break up the second one for anticiption purposes and keep things national,international (global) CIA/FBI and throw in some CSI factor “future predictions” without changing theme of show. Always have one quest star. I guarantee, a hit that will be a five year run at least with various twists. The first season was phenomenal. Episodes 3, 4 got iffy. You have to pay to play. The intelligernt public is ready and far burnt out from ignorant cheap trump junk

i am so sick of watching stupid reality shows i hate dancing with the stars and survivor and the bachelor and bachelorette!!!!!! why is it everytime a show comes out that i enjoy it gets cancelled i loved off the map, no ordinary family , and the gates , my husband and i loved deadwood also and they cancelled it with a horrible ending if you are going to cancel something you have to give it an ending or it just eats away at you the viewer you cant leave open ends, with reality tv it ends so cancel one of them and keep something on for the people who enjoy escaping from all the same bs we live everyday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very dissappointed, that they cancelled several of my favorites. Ordinary Family, Better With You,Brothers and Sisters. You get into the series and once you find a few family favorites they cancelled, its like the show becomes apart of your life. Some is comedy, drama and action with drama, you know shows you kinda relate to, and the executives cut you short. It’s all about Ratings Ratings Ratings!
