@jetgraphics: you can’t sell to people who watch Masterpiece Theater because senior citizens are usually on a very fixed income and they are too set in their ways to change brands.

I’m not surprised to see so many nominations for “Pushing Daisies”. It was a great show. It made me smile. I watched every episode, never missed a one. Not much left on ABC to watch, now. They cancelled “Eli Stone” and “The Unusuals”. Next will probably be “Ugly Betty” and then I’m gone. (Unless they bring “Pushing Daisies” back. I’ll follow Ned and Olive anywhere.)

I am not surprised that great (but low rated) shows are killed and bad, cheap reality shows dominate the networks. It’s not that most people watch reality TV, but that the advertisers are persuaded that their target audience (stupid cattle) watch garbage.

You can’t “sell” to folks who would rather watch Masterpiece Theater quality entertainment. They lack the gullibility factor.

I will miss Pushin Daisies & Sarah Connor. Both well acted , clear clean lines and plots. They will be missed!

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and The Bionic Woman are the ones that I really miss. I always attracted the Female Leading Roles in the continuous action figure television shows. I hope somehow they will come back or comes up something with a different title.

Im so proud to Pushing Dasies for getting tons of nominations.I hope the show wins and picked up for 3rd season even if it ended.

I agree that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is the show that I will miss most from the 2009 cancelled list. It wasn’t on your poll as a choice so I wanted to give it a shout-out here.
