There has not been a succesful hispanic oriented show since the george lopez show. Please let us see those amazing hispanic actors return, they were masterful. The show held everyone on the edge of their seats week after week wishing the hour would’nt end. And now the geuises at CBS can’t see they have an enormous hit on their hands? Get it together genuises put Cane back on the air and take some of the stupid shows off.

I am so upset!!! Cane was the BEST show on network television!! And as a cuban/american it was really interesting and exciting to see my culture on T.V. I wish they would reconsider!!

i dont know whether to say CBS are smart or stupid. they managed to come uo with such a great show like Cane with PERFECT casting and a brilliant story and theyre dumb to have it cancelled. what the hell are they thinking. i was never interested in these shows until my friends started eating my head about some. im also a fan of smallville which has 8 seasons atm and possibly more coming and Dexter which has 3 seasons and more coming. it would be stupid if Cane made it into the top 3 of my choice and possibly others with only 1 season. they were brilliant but cancelling it makes it seem pointless. i really hope they would consider further seasons.many peoples hearts would light up to hear this.

I had never in my whole life got into a tv series before like I did when I saw cane. I was so into it I even started missing work just to watch it. Then cbs desides to cancel it. WTF where you thinking? Do you know how many emmys it would of won for such a great show. Cbs do yourself a favor and get your all star player back before its to late.

I feel that this is a great lost to decend tv showings. I really loved the show and hope to see it return. Please find some way to bring this show back to life for us. It crosses the lines of race to show that we all, black, white, french, hispanic and etc. have talent a a story to be told as well as any other. I loved the show and will anticipate a return hopefully in the future.

Sorry this is rather late in the day to make a comment, just found this site….Cane was a great show…had all the ingredients…for a great show and it was….so disappointed this has been dropped…the cast were absolutley first class…led by Hector Elizondo….you really have made a mistake here CBS….this show really had something going for it.

I doubt we can hope for a season 2… but the least CBS could do is put out a nice Complete Series Boxed Set on DVD for those of us that loved the show. I have all the episodes stored in HD on my DVR and they’re taking up a lot of space.

In a related thought… I was sad to see Aaron Sorkin’s masterfully written Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip get cancelled… but I must say thank you to NBC for not taking too long in putting out the DVD.

Now, if they would only put the four seasons of Ed out on DVD. It was a great show…little drama…little funny…shouldn’t have been cancelled.

Well…that’s my two cents…

Cane – one of the best – in terms of art direction. lighting, color grading, sets, props,
sound, script, direction etc. — across the board as perfectly done as any series could be. It’ss not surprising that its canceled. Of course what do I know. I only watch a few shows a week anyways.

I worked on all but 3 episodes of CANE.Needless to say,I loved the show to death and loved working with such a great cast.We all got along great and I was one of the core of 10 extras/actors who were brought back all the time.While it looked like Miami,we mostly flimed in Long Beach and Sierra Madre.I talked to Jonathon Prince who was the producer and he said there is no chance of us coming back.But it never hurts to try.We did the same thing for American Dreams,another show I was on,but nothing happened with that.But I am glad to see that so many people loved the show.
It was hard work and we had to film a great deal since we all knew the WGA strike was coming,but it was worth it!!

Hi we are avid Cane fans from across the pond……
It had us glued to our sofas,but on the edge of our seats..Every episode delivered and you soon became part of the Duque family.
Please bring back Cane, life is just not the same without it!!!

Cane was the best television show I have dilligently followed since Miami Vice and Crime Story. The story line and actors in Cane were incredibly passionate and amazingly believable! It is an outcry and shame to cancel this show considering the other garbage on air.

With such an enormous Latino population why would you? As a Latino I would hate to even think of pulling the ‘race card’ on someone over at CBS…???

What a shame!

I love Cane, I really wish it would be picked up on another network, maybe FX, before or after the show Damages. Both shows are great. Cane belongs on cable anyway, it’s a great show but cable would make it much much better.

CANE was a very well written and portrayed. Its cast is marvelous and the story line captures anyone who sits to watch! I am not a frequent show watcher like many…the only shows I would always watch were Desperate Housewives and CANE! I tend to get bored with shows and decide to do something more productive. I can honestly say that for the first time in my life (I am 23) I did not miss a single episode. Now that CANE is gone, I am very dissapointed. If anyone that has the power to influence those in control reads this… PLEASE don’t screw up a GOOD THING!!

I do hope this show, Cane is not going to be cancelled. Other shows bounced back after the strike, so I don’t see the problem. It was a very good show, with great story lines and even better actors! If CBS can’t renew, then please go to a cable network like USA or Fox, somewhere, anywhere, this show is too good to just forget about it.

The Show was new and wasn’t given a real chance to take off. If the Saprano’s did well, this show had a real shot. The actors were excellent and just when it started to become intresting, Strike!!!! Now I realize everyone wants to make money but what about the viewers? Reconsider CBS or sell it to another network.

It will be a shame, If Cane is cancelled. It was one of the first TV Drama’s that stared all Hispanic’s& Latino’s. This show was a coming of age for the spanish speaking Community. I ask that you please bring it back . Even, if you must go out an get other actor to replace some that has gone. Please give us Latino’s a Good writen Drama to watch.
