My wife & I love this show. It has a quality cast, great scripts & characters you come to care about. There aren’t too many shows on TV today that you can say that about. What concerns me is the way programs are judged whether they are successful or not today (read that whether they get to stay on the air or not). It’s still all about catering the 18-49 y.o. demographic, which personally I don’t understand why, since statistically our society median age is skewing older all the time (besides, as a 60 male I spend more than my 2 mid-late twenty’s children who are married & with children of their own) not to mention we watch TV differently. Why is that shows are determined as successes or failures using the same measurement criteria for viewership that were used back when our entire TV selection options consisted of 3 network channels & there was no such thing as VCR/DVR/the Web technology which allows us to view our favorite programs due to work schedules or being forced to choose between favorites.

So should we keep Castle? Heck YES! Let’s cancel the Rating System!

Please, Please, Please don’t end this show!!!! There are so few shows left to watch. We DON’T need another “reality” show! Enough Bachelor, Bachelorette etc.!!!!!

Please do cancel. My uncle watches it religiously, and the show is no different compared to the other hundred murder/crime solving television shows on the air. Besides, I HATE having to see his redheaded soul-less daughter ***** all the time. I hate this show SO much. God, I pray for its ******* cancellation.

ABC ordered 2 extra episodes this year, plus they actually sent Molly and some crew members to Paris to film Target! you don’t do such things, don’t spend that much money if you wanna cancel the show in question. besides, Castle has a steady fan base! the ratings have never been extremely high but never been sinking too much either. not speaking about the additional stuff like coffee, Heat & Storm books and comic books, the card game… it all brings money. it would be more than stupid to cancel it and ABC is very smart imho. I’m pretty sure we are gonna get a new season. can’t wait for the official announcement though :)
