If you’re curious to see what happens to Charlie Sheen’s character on Two and a Half Men, set your calendar for September 19th. The Eye network has revealed the debut dates for their new and returning TV shows.
Here’s the press release from CBS:
CBS ANNOUNCES 2011-2012 PREMIERE DATES
CBS, America’s most watched network, will officially open the 2011-2012 season on Monday, Sept. 19, highlighted by the special series debut of its new comedy, 2 BROKE GIRLS, which premieres at a special time behind the season premiere of TWO AND A HALF MEN.
CBS will once again launch the majority of its new and returning programming during premiere week (Sept. 19-25). SURVIVOR premieres one week earlier (Wednesday, Sept. 14) for the ninth time in the past 10 seasons, and the comedies MIKE & MOLLY (Monday, Sept. 26) and HOW TO BE A GENTLEMAN (Thursday, Sept. 29) will debut one week later.
The new drama, PERSON OF INTEREST, opens Thursday, Sept. 22 preceded by back-to-back episodes of THE BIG BANG THEORY. UNFORGETTABLE premieres Tuesday, Sept. 20 and A GIFTED MAN on Friday, Sept. 23.
“Our playbook is pretty consistent: wherever and whenever possible we use established successful series to introduce new shows,” said Kelly Kahl, Senior Executive Vice President, CBS Primetime. “We’ve also asked a couple of our strongest series to work overtime during premiere week in order to support the new series and bolster our performance.”

I still can’t beleive you’ve cancelled The Defenders. What were they thinking moving Th Good Wife to Sundays. That schedule always gets screwed up from football!
Amazing that some good t.v. series (NCIS’s & CSI’s) are not cancelled. Maybe CBS is not a complete disappointment like the rest of the networks.
CBS cancelled 2 of my favorite shows with “Mad Love” and “$#*! My Dad Says”.Now I only have “Hawaii Five-O” & “Blue Bloods” to watch. The only time I watch “CSI:New York or Miami” is on Spike TV or A&E.
Oh ,I forgot to add, How I Met Your Mother,Enough already!!!
O.K. so I guess I don’t understand why CBS would keep some shows like Two and a Half Men and The Good Wife, etc. Then get rid of Defenders and Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior!Confused!!
i agree The Defenders is a great show as well as Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior. cant believe they are not renewing them. as far as Two and a Half Men, I loved the show they had a great thing. Dont agree with Charlies attitude but the show isnt going to be the same without him.
I can’t believe they moved “The Good Wife” to Sundays! How do they expect it to survive! They shoudn’t have moved “CSI” to Wednesdays, either – they should have moved “Blue Bloods” there – like they tried to do before! Well, at least they didn’t move “Criminal Minds”! All four of these are great shows, why mess with them?!
Wow, Survivor, The Amazing Race and Hawaii 5.0. are the only shows on the schedule I watch on CBS…
And really, the Amazing Race I end up DL’ing from the net as they play other sports shows longer and it gets cut off on my DVR so many times.
Looking forward to the return of The Good Wife.
I will be watching CSI, it’s is mine and my daughter’s favorite show.
