Chicago Fire: Season Two Ratings

Chicago Fire season two ratingsLast season, it looked like Chicago Fire was going to be cancelled but then the ratings started to perk up. NBC renewed it for a second season and gave it an incredibly strong lead-in, The Voice. Will it become a hit or end up being cancelled instead? Time will tell.

As the title suggests, Chicago Fire follows the personal and professional lives of those working for the Chicago Fire Department. The cast includes Jesse Spencer, Taylor Kinney, Charlie Barnett, Monica Raymund, Lauren German, Eamonn Walker, and David Eigenberg.

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

This show has really turned out to be let down, its just a night time soap opera as far as I’m concerned. I was really looking forward to it.

Don’t understand why good shows like Chicago Fire are being cancelled instead of idiotic
programs like The Voice / Survivor are renewed

Ummm . . . Chicago Fire has not been canceled. Come April/May it will certainly be renewed for another season. And The Voice is the highest rated show on NBC, that’s why it gets renewed. Survivor is on CBS and has nothing to do with the shows on NBC.
