I have lost track of the show the past 2 years or so due to schedule and life changes but ive always, ALWAYS loved Cold Case and still try to catch it when i can.

I last saw it in season 6 early on and to me…it seemed just as fresh, exciting, gripping and intelligent as ever! Its one of the few shows on Network TV i follow or watch. The cast and the crew/writers should be proud as this is was a pretty ground breaking series and they have done what I hate about todays ” me, now” society Cold Case NEVER has pandered to just get ratings!!

CBS..get smart bring this show back!! its only been a year….It’s shows like Cold Case getting the axe while still being watched, that have made me go to cable only or movies!

Thank you to the producers, crew, writers and the AMAZING cast for a show that touched our hearts, souls, made us think, laugh, cry and 100% entertain us all in ways no other show could do!

I miss you already….

I have been a dedicated fan of “Cold Case” and as others do, I watch all the reruns on TNT. I absolutely loved this show!!! I DVR them also since there are no DVD’s out there that has full seasons. Please bring back the series I miss this show tremendously and there needs to be at least a series finale. Wish CBS would bring back COLD CASE!!!

Cold Case is one of our favorite shows. It is too bad that it has been cancelled. We watch the re-runs on TNT network in the afternoons. Hopefully it will come back. I am not sure why the ratings would be that bad. It was very interesting to watch. There are several cold cases here where we live and it always puzzles us how so many can be unsolved. It reminds us of the old Unsolved Mysteries show that Robert Stack used to have. We will keep our fingers crossed and hopefully CBS will re-consider and start it up again. A lot of times it is just the time slot conflicting with other shows. We thank all of the cast for making it such a good show all of these years.

If CBS wouldn’t have had their shows running behind schedule every Sunday then the ratings would not have dropped. This is the problem of CBS and not with Cold Case. DO you know how frustrating it is to pay for cable, record your favorite shows so that your minor children can be safely in bed before you get to watch adult television, only to head to your DVR list and select Cold Case and there is the Amazing Race running 1/2 hour into the show or at times longer. CBS – do you think our dvr’s are smart enough to pick up on that?? NO. You should have just changed it to another night at 10pm or 9pm. Very disappointed with CBS.

Honestly, My family and I love cold case!!! The series is just getting better and better with each episode! I was so excited for the new season and now they are canceling it, how fair is that? I know that I want the new season to come back now, what a way to end things! This frustrates me so much!

Wow!!! I moved from Philly a few years ago and miss it very much. This was my trip back home every Sunday. Plus it was a quality show. I remember years ago when Cagney & Lacy was cancelled and they were brought back with a deluge of a letter writing campaign to the channel. Lets do the same to CBS. And It won’t even cost a stamp.

Tom Barry is a great actor and I would like to see how his character ends up. As well and the rest of the cast. Too many loose ends to end it now.

I am so upset this was cancelled. I loved how it would start with songs of that era when the crime was committed, and they were eventually solved, bringing peace to the victim. I think it got the shaft due to the time slot and should have tested it on a weekday. I watch it on TNT whenever possible, but I’ve already seen most of them more than a couple of times. They’re eliminating one of the best crime series’ on air. Come on CBS.

GOD!!!!! What’s wrong with CBS??? Canceling my favorite shows…, first ‘Without a Trace’ and now “Cold Case”…. at least with Without a trace I can buy the DVDs, and watch the reruns on ION TV; but, with ‘Cold Case’ there are no DVDs to buy and the reruns are so late or so early on TNT that I have to record the shows, also, I do not know whether TNT has the right or no, to re-run all the shows until the end of the last season because they consistently show up to the fifth season… that I know….. I WISH CBS BRINGS MY FAVORITE SHOWS BACK…..

I love this show and would hate to see it end. It didnt get rating due to the spot it was in. It was on Sunday after that reality show amazing race and it would always run over about an half hour or so. So that would put the show behind and if u dvr it then you lose most of the story line. Pissed me off alot. The story lines and characters were awsome and I would hate to see it leave. So I hope CBS picks it back up and put in a new time spot. It would do very well on TNT too, I love TNT they have alot of good shows. I would love to see what happens in seasons 8.

Cold Case is a very good thought provoking show. There is so much realism that the show has to offer. It also offers the investigative mindset that a “book can not be judged by the cover”. I think the ratings fell due to the continuous time switch from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM or later if a sports activity preceded the show. I wish there was more that could be done to resurrect the decision but if not … then another intelligent show will be replaced with something less informative and entertaining.

Cold case used to be a good show. From seasons 1 – 4, it was amazing, and each episode was filled with emotion, action, and excitement. You really felt sympathy for the characters. The way the producers and writers made each episode was very very well done. In past seasons (6 and 7) it seems like these producers and writers are barely even trying. It seems like they threw together each episode in five minutes. There is no emotion and no sympathy anymore. And there are no interesting storylines anymore. Most of the storylines focus on the characters instead of the actual stories. And that’s why it was cancelled, and it is official, that it will not be returning for an eighth season. I do feel bad because Cold Case used to be a show that I loved, but apparently it was time to go due to the previous bad episodes.

Cold Case is a very good show; however, CBS gives it no respect and then complains when the number of viewers is not large. It is on Sunday nights at either 9 or 10PM. Many times it does not start on time because of earlier sports events lasting beyond the time given to them. Once when it was on at 10PM and previous shows were late, it did not show at all in the New York area. I called the producer in California the next day who was not aware that the show did not air the night before. It was aired the next week. It is difficult to get high ratings when the show is treated in this manner.

Cold Case is a fantastic show. The time changes have been annoying. i don’t know why NBC/CBS/FOX/NBC/CW all fight to have their best shows on at the same time. You have to record them or you will miss them and there is so much “dead air” time throughout the week with bad shows or no shows to watch. Cold Case is unique and wonderful. The only thing I can say that’s frustrating, if you don’t watch the first 5 minutes it’s hard to watch the rest of the show and with sports causing delays and shows running over by 2 minutes to annoy dvr users, I miss the show and I really want to watch it. Thanks for the other commenter who told me the episodes are online. It’d be great if NETFLIX carried the show.

I LOVE COLD CASE!!! i’m going on 27[june] and can NOT stand: American Idol, the biggest loser, medium, the desp. housewives. Cold case is amazing!!! I started watching cause of Morris and soon fell in love with the stories and Morris’s character, Rush will not let one case not be solved. To me, Cold Case is the best show out there!! Cold Case is my enjoyment on tv- i have lost respect for tv, without Cold Case, my tv would NEVER be turned on. If it’s cancelled, it’s a promise that it will be put BACK on tv for it is a MUCH LOVED SHOW & the cast is much loved as well. Take the other JUNK off and LEAVE cold case ALONE!!!

I really hope that Cold Case does not get cancelled. It is one of my favorite shows. It is a very different detective show. I find the old cases being reopened and how the detectives work to solve them very interesting. I also like the cast of the show very much. Their personal interreaction is good. Hopefully, if CBS doesn’t have the good insight to keep it going, then maybe one of the really creative networks, such as USA or TNT will save it.

It still counts as viewership – actually even more so in terms of ratings because it was especially sought out CBS exclusive content.

Up to yesterday (Sunday 11 April, 2010) I was waiting for the show cause I know I could see a repeat of Army Wives which premiered at the same time. When I saw another show still going on on CBS (Undercover Boss), I switched and watched Army Wives instead. The sad thing is that Cold Case does not repeat, and I could have seen Army Wives later that night or in the week. Why, oh why do they do this to one of my favorite shows on TV?

I think a major issue is that it is constantly being pushed back and often doesn’t start until almost 11PM eastern time. Add this to the fact that its on a Sunday and its like the network is basically killing it without even giving it a chance.

Cold Case can survive and it has nothing to do with demographics or anything like that. The show is good, period! The problem is that they air it on a Sunday night after football, after 60 minutes, after Survivor (none of which I watch) and because football often runs into overtime, the show does not keep it’s correct time! If cold Case is scheduled for 9pm, and at 8.55 60 minutes or Survivor is running late, obviously people will move on and go to watch a show that STARTS at 9pm. So don’t blame demographics, or say people don’t like the show. Blame the football and do something about the timing. That’s the biggest problem. Without a Trace also suffered because of that, and now we no longer have that wonderful show. Cold Case is heading down the same path, and I tell you it will be a terrible loss to me, cause I love the show.

I always watched Cold Case on Sundays at 9 pm. When you moved it to 10 pm, it was too late for me and I had to tape it, yes, I said tape not dvr! Quit moving shows around from their original time slot or day. I also like Without a Trace, but it moved so many times I lost track!

I seems that most of the TV programs on are so-called reality shows that show only the worst behavior of humanity. This show shows individuals who actually care for the people and the families whose cases they are working on. Please don’t cancel this show! It has intelligence, compassion, stamina, and, as someone who enjoys a thinking persons’ show, I hope it will continue. I even keep up with the reruns. They are better then the pap that’s usually playing!

I watch Cold Case in English in the UK and in French in France. Love it. Always have done. The music is perfect synchronicity and the messages about responsibility and care for the vulnerable are so valuable. I will miss it if it goes. I have a lot of respect for the production and the value expressed in the series. So much more adult and sophisticated than the wretched teen vampire schlock we get endlessly. Positive thoughts.

PLEASE don’t cancel Cold Case. We love the sync with the music of whatever era the story is about. We also love the characters!! It is one of our top 5 shows that we watch!!

Don’t end a show just because of ratings not coming in….. they should stop end lost coz, how long can u stay on a island and not get rescued? Not very long..3months maybe…
Cold Case is very indepth Crime series, simialr to the X-Files, which uncover unsovled murders…I hope they don’t end it, because Kathryn Morris is a very good actress and i’d hate to see her hurt in ways we can’t imagine.

I love my Cold Case…I watch it every Sunday it comes on…I also watch it on TNT…There is nothing about the show that I don’t like…Lily Rush is awesome…I hope it continues on for many more seasons. I would be lost without it. The crew is well put together and they all seem to work well together…When I think of Lily Rush, I think of her as a person, not Katheryn Morris…That is how the show makes me feel. This show is an outstanding drama that keeps you on edge throughout the whole episode…I am such a total fan of Cold Case…
