I love this show, I am so sick of reality shows. I think u need to change times because the other show interferes with cold case. I rarely watch t.v. But when I do its cold case I even record each episode. CBS needs to reconsider their decision.

Dear NBC Programming Representative,

Cold Case is unparalleled as a dynamic television series. The show has a tremendous following of 10 million loyal fans. On CBS, Cold Case was preempted too often this season, airing at inconsistent times and generating scheduling conflicts. Unfortunately, this problem harmed an excellent show. Now, Cold Case fans appeal to NBC to support the program for Season 9.

This proposal could only help NBC’s ratings. A number of cancelled shows have thrived after switching to new networks. Fans would love to see the next season of Cold Case aired on NBC and showcased in a way that this program merits. If NBC adds Cold Case to its network, it will gain 10 million loyal followers.

First without a trace and now coldcase ! UNREAL !! it was one of the few shows I watch on tv besides criminal minds and NCIS which I love the marathons of both shows on USA and A &E These NITWITS TV EXECS are goofy , some of us are not amused by silly reality tv shows like survivor and the great race and big brother . I am so sick of good shows going by the wayside because of GOLF , NFL OR basketball . well it will live on in reruns .

Cold case is one of the best shows on television. has been for many years.
Three Rivers was also a good show. How can Any shows survive a sunday nite lineup on CBS. They are always delayed due to some sport going on during the day. and yet they keep The Amazing Race which is an absolutely ridiculous show

Does anyone know why this show has never been relased on DVD? Buying the DVD’s would be a way for all of the people who love the show to keep the episodes with them and be able to watch them again. CBS has done virtually nothing to promote the show and it’s excellent cast of actors. It’s a real shame if CBS takes it off the air. I wager that anything else they put in that time slot will do even worse.

I am very upset that they are cancelling cold case. I just love that show!
I hope they are not going to put on another reality show. I hate those reality shows.
Oh well, I won’t watch CBS anymore. I’ll stick with Lifetime, USA or TNT.
Lord knows we don’t need another comedy show.
I like to relax on Sunday night and watch cold case.

I have watched Cold Case weekly since it started. I even record the re-runs so I can watch them again. It is one of the few intelleigent shows on TV and it would be a shame to see it end without finishing up all the story lines. I am a big Tom Berry fan and would like to see him more. please,please,please don’t canvel cold case. i am a 40 year old female, disabled and i look forward to sunday night to watch cold case. this is one of the best shows on that isn’t like all the others(ie:all csi’s). i even watch the reruns on tnt.cold case is a very unique show and very educational, if cold case is canceled that would be a HUGE mistake. i do agree it should be on at a 9 o’clock slot because Sundays most people do go to bed earlier and the flip flop schedule don’t help. please save cold case, maybe put it on before a csi that would be a great 2 hours of tv

NO I would NOT be okay if this show was cancelled. Cold Case is amazing and does not deserve to be cancelled for some dumb reality show or whatever show they think can fill the void. This show is intelligent and actually requires the viewer to think, which is what some shows should do. There’s too many crappy tv shows on the air that are degrading or just plain pointless. So if Cold Case, a genuinely good show that actually helps people, gets cancelled, theres something wrong with that.

Cold case is one of the best ensemble casts on TV. The plots are always challenging and it’s great to see that justice always gets served, even if it’s only on TV. CBS gives the show no publicity, puts the show up against the roughest competition shows, and yet the show still gets relatively good statistics. There is no doubt this show still has a sizable fan base. Many people record the show on their DVR’s. Do the ratings reflect there fans? Also, I want to know why CBS has never agreed to put the show out on DVD’s? Many fans of the show would like to see previous episodes like they do other shows.
The fans of the show don’t want CBS to cancel the show!!!!

Well, you have so little good on your network at all, that I’m not shocked that you would cancel Cold Case—it’s just too well acted for your pathetic network—and I’ve never even heard of Three Rivers—but IF its a medical show—I swore off them years ago. As an RN in real life those medical shows were just embarrassing to anyone’s intelligence. If it’s not a medical show, but a reality show—well–I don’t watch them at all. Give me something with some meat—I swear, you folks used to know how to do it—what happened??

Cold Case is one of the Best Shows out there..The network needs to put it back in the 9pm time slot and leave it there! Moving a show back and forth does not help it..

The network should give Cold Case at least one more year maybe two, and put it back in the 9pm time slot where it belongs!

We love cold case. It’s all a case of what time slot it’s scheduled.
We record it on the DVR if there is some block buster show at the same time.
10:00 pm Sunday night is a better time slot. We really hope CBS doesn’t cancel this show!

I agree with the above comments about the time slot problem, I have DVR and myself have taped 4 hours just to try and catch Cold Case so I don’t miss it and it has even been on as late as 12 and 1:00 in the morning. This is an excellant show and shouldn’t be cancelled . I will be very mad if it does get cancelled.

Once again, it seems at though that any show we REALLY like is doomed to be cancelled. Cold Case has good plots, outstanding actors and actresses, lots of human interest, so it will die after this spring.

I suppose the almighty dollar is the final determinant. Lots of folks use DVR’s and never watch the commercials anyway.

Hope that whatever replaces Cold Case will be as good, and not just another Reality Show, or Dance Show, etc.

I really enjoy Cold Case and will be sorely disappointed if it is not renewed for another season! Football running late has always been a problem – to predict when Cold Case will actually be on. I’d like to see it on another night – say Monday night instead. Also, I am a fan of Three Rivers and am very unhappy that it has been cancelled!

Just realized you were considering cancelling cold case as well as three rivers. I have commented on three rivers which is a GREAT show and now I find out you were considering booting cold case too. These two shows are the only really great shows CBS has that are not reality tv which, by the way, is getting obnoxiously overdone. Ages 30 to 85 in my household have enjoyed having some true talented TV shows to watch in the face of all the stupid reality tv stuff out there. Please reconsider this move.

CBS consistantly starts the shows early, ends them late, and if you do not see the beginning it is difficult to follow. 10 pm is late for a great show like this one!! Put the dumb reality shows on late so the rest of us have an opportunity to enjoy some good programing.

You keep messing with Cold Case’s time slot and wonder why it loses viewers. Put Amazing Race on at 10 and see how it does. At 10 Cold Case is on 2 hours later than it originally started. Does anyone ever think about that? Then there’s football. You think you’re going to get to see it, but it gets left off altogether by being on at 10. How do you think that affects the ratings. Everyone still got to see the (ridiculous) Amazing Race. In order to accommodate both Cold Case and Three Rivers on my DVR, I had to DVR the news and the program after it. Lots of people don’t have DVR. Do you think they’re going to stay up half the night to watch their shows? Or, they can’t watch them if they aren’t shown because football went too far over. It’s not really fair to decide a show’s fate given the screwed up football Sunday schedule. Also, it seems cancellations aren’t really based on ratings. Moonlight was the best new show, had great ratings, and got cancelled anyway. How do shows like Amazing Race stay on the air?

I think it should have a stayed at 9 since the beginning. I’m hoping there is going to be an 8th season. Cold Case is the best show there is on TV. 9 millions not so bad. I guarantee like last year, the ratings will go up after football season plus 9 millions not bad at all. They’re trying to entertain people, and they’re entertaing a lot of people , but I guess CBS doesn’t look at it that way? The writers are doing a great job, and I hope the show can embrace more people soon.

they think that a show should pull in a 5 or higher in the ratings which gives them somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 million people or so watching it. Unfortunately as is the case for three rivers by having them both on Sunday night they are fighting unwinnable fights. They come on late because of the football games. they dont have a chance beating ABC and the show they play, and so on down the line.

Cold Case is a good show, and hope it is able to last, but I do remember last year. It was down to the facts that CBS wasnt sure about bringing it back because of how much money it costs to make the show.

Hope they keep it around cause its starting to suck that they are changing crap around. I just see them bringing another Reality show to CBS andthat would suck.

I absolutely love Cold Case, and would be very disappointed if it was canceled. Sometimes I get frustrated because it doesn’t always come on at exactly at 10p.m. because an earlier football game ran over. Many times I have tuned in and it was like half hour behind. I hope it won’t be canceled. Also, I do think the 9pm time slot was better…many of us who have to get up early for work struggle to stay up until 10-11 to watch the whole show through, if at all. I don’t understand how NBC can think that over 9 million viewers is not good enough.

I hope CBS will renew the show. Over 9 million viewers is quite respectable. The show is unique–the flashbacks and showing how the characters have aged; the music that matches the era–it rocks! I only discovered CC and started watching it a couple of years ago, but now it’s my favorite show–I’m addicted! I’m trying to catch up w/ earlier seasons on reruns. Where can you get the DVD’s? I thought there were copyright issues holding up releasing CC on DVD b/c of the music.

Over 9 million viewers are not at all bad! There are other networks airing shows way below half of that. It’s a great show! I never watched it before but i got them on dvd’s from season 1 and now im catching up with it!
It’s way better a show then the other (different channel / same producer) show that premiered fall 09..

I think from the beginning of this season CBS should have just left CC at 9pm from the start. This problem wouldn’t have happen, anyhow CC should be renewed for one more season, the show still has so many fans around the world. Cancelling it wouldn’t be fair to a show that a lot of people still very much enjoy.
