Comedy Bang! Bang! is coming to an end. Today, creator and host Scott Aukerman announced the IFC series will end after its fifth season.
Based on the popular comedy podcast, the fake talk show featured Aukerman interviewing a series of celebrity and character guests, including Nick Kroll, Zach Galifianakis, Joe Jonas, The Lonely Island, Anna Kendrick, and Brie Larson. Over the course of 110 episodes, Reggie Watts, Kid Cudi, and Weird Al Yankovic served as bandleader.
Season five of Comedy Bang! Bang! returns with new episodes in October.

We've had a great run, and I couldn't be more proud of the show. We have 10 final episodes premiering in October, and a great 2-part finale.

We had enough time to write something I feel is truly special and fans will love. Plus we get to do some crazy stuff in the final ten.
