Crisis: New TV Show Cancelled by NBC

Crisis TV show canceled on NBCNBC is cleaning house on Sunday nights. They’ll surely cancel American Dream Builders, they’ve cancelled Believe and they’ve also cancelled Crisis as well.

An action/thriller series, Crisis finds out what might happen if the children of powerful people from Washington, DC were to be taken prisoner. The cast includes Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor, Lance Gross, James Lafferty, Max Martini, Michael Beach, Stevie Lynn Jones, Halston Sage, Max Schneider, Joshua Erenberg, and Gillian Anderson.

Unfortunately, this show seemed doomed from the start. It debuted to lackluster ratings and the numbers sank lower and lower each week. At one point, Crisis drew just a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers.

On the upside, it seems likely that NBC will release of the remaining episodes. Eight of the 13 episodes have aired so far.

What do you think? Are you sorry that there won’t be a second season of Crisis or is one season the right amount? Should it have been cancelled?

If the show is being canceled, the network could at least let it finish out.

this show was HORRIBLE really predictable, bad acting slow moving etc etc. I thought it would be cancelled week 2.

very sad to see it go- it kept me on the edge of my seat and brought back real drama instead of the reality shows that are on all the time.

With so many old re-runs (from year 2000+) it was refreshing to find a new drama. We travel a lot and look forward to turning on our DVR to search for our “new” recordings. Even so, we hate to see each episode end and can’t wait for the next. So disappointed to see it was canceled.

If the series Hostages with Dylan McDermott was cancelled by CBS (and it was passable for entertainment) why is the world did NBC think this series was viable with less acting credentials and a weaker storyline. From the looks of the other NBC cancellations they are taking the financial write-off for this series out on all the other good shows they have dropped. Comcast(parent of NBC) is messing up the TV world just as they have the cable world!

i cant believe crisis is being canceled. i was so into it and watched every chance i got..crisis should stay on air because you can learn from it..the parents are showing viewers that kids should always come first in thier their chosing to face the kidnapper and risk their life to have their child, i feel like even this show isnt watched by lots of people it should stay on cause it can remind parents of how their relationship should be with their child. at least its a learning experience for some of us and shows alot of action

Bring it back dammit! I am tired of losing all the shows I enjoy only to have them replaced with boring drivel! I want to see what kind of an ending they come up with. How about I just stop watching NBC altogether? Maybe I will.
