Crossbones: Cancelled? NBC Series Shipped to Saturdays

Crossbones TV show on NBCNBC has decided that their low-rated Friday night drama, Crossbones, will now wrap with a pair of episodes on Saturday August 2nd. The installments had previously been set for Friday, August 1st and Friday, August 8th.

Though the network hasn’t said that Crossbones has been cancelled, the ratings have been terrible and it’s highly unlikely to return for a second season.

Others in the cast are Yasmine Al Massri, Richard Coyle, Claire Foy, David Hoflin, Tracy Ifeachor, and Chris Perfetti.

Crossbones is one of the best shows on television! Please let it continue! The acting, directing, everything is top notch. Friday evenings in the summer is not a good test of how a show should be judged. I do not have regular tv and watch via the NBC app after the first showing. Please please keep it going!

I really enjoyed the show, I hope they do not cancel it. We were not able to watch it on Friday nights, but we recorded every episode and would enjoy sitting down and relaxing while we watched it every Sunday. It has some great actors and a fantastic story line. I couldn’t wait till the next week to see what would happen next.

Absolutely LOVE the show! Even my 87 yr old mother enjoyed every episode. We would BOTH be very sad to see it end. Please bring it back for another season. We are still telling people about it & perhaps many more will watch if it comes back for another season. Great acting and a wonderful plot & story. Cant wait for more.

I loved the show and would hate to see it cancelled. The acting, directing, costumes & sets were wonderfully done. I produced a historical/pictorial poster years ago titled “New World Pirates & Treasure.” From the research I did, I know there are many true pirate tales to be told and had assumed they would be presented with this series. Why stop with just one pirate, NBC? Don’t quit when you’ve got a good thing going!

I love this show! Why cancel it? I don’t care what higher ups think, I’m the one watching it and I thought the viewers opinion mattered! It is a great show man every time a great series comes out it is cancelled but the CRAP shows are what we are stuck watching SERIOUSLY SICK OF REALITY SHOWS AND THE DAMN KARDASHIAN BULLCRAP! BRING IT BACK!

  8. Susanne says

This is a great show, with the best acting by Malkovich seen on TV in years. And the Dr
Isn’t hard to look at. He is fabulous also. It’s something DIFFERENT. Do we really need another CSI show, or cop show? Give it one more season, pleeeeez!

  9. Carolyn says

I absolutely love this show, the characters, the stories, john!, the sets, please continue the series. I can’t understand who could have possibly not rated it well. It’s unique, simply well done.
