This is one of the dumbest shows I have ever seen. I hate how they let an autopsy specialist so far into areas of law enforcement and how brash and irritating the character “Jordan” is. She doesn’t listen to her superiors, gets away with being able to do practically anything she wants in the areas of law enforcement and seems to be the leader on investigations even though we know full well that an autopsy specialist is ALWAYS in the background when a case is being solved, they state cause of death, and keep the bodies on record. THAT’S IT. Also the jokes are terrible and cheesy, the sarcasm of Jordan is so immature that it brings you to tears wondering why she hasn’t realized how to be an adult…CSI or Law & Order is way better than this BS…AND THEY ARE ALL STILL RUNNING SHOWS! The fact that this show went to 2007 is mind boggling. Hennessy is not sexy, the other characters have cheesy lines, it just all seems like such a terribly written show. They couldn’t even end it in a way that it was liked, they cant even release it on DVD because NBC fails with their music copyrights even after 9 years from the start of the first season…if you want a show that is even decently watchable without all the childish immaturity and terrible actors, watch any other crime show. NOT NCIS…thats a completely different topic. ANYTHING else. I hope this show never comes back and that its irritating commercials that I see on Crime & Investigation Network go away, I am sick of hearing about this show. An autopsy technician involved in a hostage situation…just WTF NBC. Get out of my TV. The only thing that you’ve done well NBC, is The Office, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Deal or No Deal & Jeopardy. STICK TO COMEDY & GAME SHOWS! THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY YOUR FORTE; NO MORE BS CRIME SHOWS PLEASE!

OMG! This is so stupid. I love watching Crossing Jordan so much that I continue to watch Season 6 for the 3rd time everyday at 12:00pm. I wish you guys would bring it back, and continue with a 7th season. I would love to see what happeneds with Lily and Bug and the new baby, Jordan and Woody…will they make it?…

It’s 2008 its been canceled. I’m still pissed off because it was taken off. That was the one show I looked forward to seeing every week. The cast worked very well together in making an original show. I even got my whole family into watching it. It was the one night I knew for sure we would all agree on something to watch. NBC your stupid for canceling it.

I have watched Crossing jordan since day one and I really hope to see season 7 and even more seasons if it is possible. I realize that she is due to have a baby any time now but I hope that, that she doesn’t stop doing it for she has had a child 4 years ago and it didn’t stop her from doing the series before so I hope she comes back to do the next series. I wish that this is going to be good luck for the writers to bring it back.

I agree with the others I don’t want to see Crossing Jordan canceled. Why does everyone care about if the 18-19 yr. old crowd is watching it? There are so many shows on for them to watch as is and might I add “stupid ones”. Most of the kids from 18-25 only watch reality or game shows. So, is that all you’re going to put on television?

Crossing Jordan is my favorite show. I have been watching it since it started. I love the cast! I hope this show will return, and with the same characters. I LOVE jordan and woody, and I would also like to see Lilly and Bug (Madeline too) finally get together for real! I LOVE this show! Please don’t cancel!

PLEASE!!! Dont get rid of Crossing Jordan! NBC…stop manipulating time slots for failure! There are so many things that have to happen and develope! Jordan/Woody…Lilly/Bug…and now there is Madeline! Why introduce another character/situation if you are taking the show off the air! Here is another killer…why isnt Crossing Jordan available on DVD?

I agree with all comments I have read on Crossing Jordan. Get rid of all the stupid reality shows, I don’t even know how anyone can go on these shows. Get rid of games shows shown in the evenings.
Saturday is a good day or even or even Fridays at 10PM after Friday Night Lights & Las Vegas.
Television channels ask for comments but do they ever read what we want or say?
Like their opposite channel CBS cancelled Close to Home with one of my favorite star David Elliot James. I was sorry to see JAG leave.
WE WANT CROSSING JORDAN.
Don’t understand why channels which days & times.

Crossing Jordan is one of the only Crime/ CSI tv shows that has a female as the main character. Axing this show only shows that tv is still controlled by the male race.

Of course the ratings were low. It was next to impossible to figure out when the show was going to be on. Despite this, I rarely missed it, thanks to my DVR. There is so much garbage on the TV, the bar just keeps getting lower and lower. Crossing Jordan is a great show; give it a chance. There are still folks out there who appreciate a good, solid well written show.

Crossing Jordan is the only show that I enjoy watching on NBC. We have enough shows for the “mentally challenged” – we need real, well thought out, creative stories like Crossing Jordan. Crossing Jordan is in the same category as the program “Mash” was, only as an updated version of humor, family, mystery, and suspense. It became seriously obvious towards the end of this last season that the NBC producers no longer cared – the commercials took up at least 75% of the hour and who needed the “synopsis”. Keep Crossing Jordan the way it was – a good show and something to look forward to.

I love Crossing Jordan! I have been watching this show since the beginning and I’m not ready to say goodbuy. I have waited for years for Woody and Jordan to form a meaningful lasting relationship. There are so many possibilities for this show. I hope that this is not the series finale and if it is I am very dissatisfied with such a great show leaving the air without it’s usual flair.

It is a great show. I fear that it will not be returning. NBC is certainly putting a question mark on the show. On my DVR, it shows the description of the programs. Several other shows that I record say “Series, Season Finale”. Crossing Jordan says “Series, Finale” That doesn’t look good, unfortunately.

Here is another show that is great and losing its place on the line-up…whats the matter with you people. There are those of us who enjoy shows like this and want to see them… If you can’t find a place for her during the week, put it on Saturday nights…You never have anything worth watching on Saturdays…it’s the same old thing, nothing!!!

I will be very sorry to see Jordan go. There are too many reality/game shows. I agree that Saturday is a dead night on network tv and trying Jordan there may be very surprising and rewarding for the network at the same time.

I love Crossing Jordan… and if you are looking for a younger audience i am 17 years old… Everybody i know watches Crossing Jordan…. I have conversations about it with my math teacher… I would rather Watch Crossing Jordan before American Idol… I mean what is the point of American Idol anyway… It is suppose to be a singing competition but at the beginning of the show they got rid of a good singer… and left some bad ones… but Crossing Jordan is constant and it is not a show that can make people feel bad about themselves… much better show and it gives me something to look forward to on wednesdays… that is the only reason i like Wednesdays…..CROSSING JORDAN ROCKS!!!!

Wow, I just started really getting into this show about a year ago. I was always impressed with the cast’s delivery and how well the plot wove into each episode. I had no idea they were airing the *series* finale until tonight, when they advertised it. The last few episodes really had me intrigued more than ever and I was under the assumption that it would be continuing on for at least another season. I was pretty shocked and disappointed with the fact that NBC cut this series so short, when they’ve kept a mid-rate, boring show like ER on for 13+ seasons.

What I really liked about Crossing Jordan was that they found a perfect cast and a perfect set of writers, and actually stuck with it; all while maintaining a promising series. I hope that NBC will rethink their decision and re-slate the series for at least another trial season. It’s really one of the only three or four shows on NBC that actually had redeeming and promising qualities in all aspects.

I can’t believe you are canceling Jordan. I have watched every eposide since it started. I love the characters…..they all do exceptional jobs. There is never a dull moment in the show. It should never have been moved to the same time as Criminal Minds. I liked it on Sundays. Please let it stay.

I really beleive that this is a great show and that I have been watching this series since it began. What is really sad, is that I beleive that why Cossing Jordan maybe having a hard time is because there isn’t enough garbage on the show. I am so sick and tired of the reallity shows. We still need some great shows on NBC. I feel like I am at home watching this program, and since I cannot stay up past 9:00 PM, I record Crossing Jordan and many other programs. This is an awesome crew and they look like they work together well. I am a 32 year old guy, and I love this program. I also feel that our Society is getting worse so they would rather have programs with more sex, foul language, and more violence. I hope you give this program more chances to make the hump over the hill to stay on NBC. As Claudia stated above, why not change the program to Saturday Nights, since there is nothing on Saturdays that aren’t any good anymore, like the way it used to be in the late 90’s to around 2000. Thanks for your time.

I agree with everyone else. I am 23 years old and look forward to Wednesday nights when Jordan will be on. This is a great show and NBC would be stupid not to put in back in for a seventh season. I love all the other shows as well but Jordan has to be my favorite. Please let us know quickly if NBC is going to let there be another season of Crossing Jordan. They can’t just let Lily and Bug get together and not show us what is going to happen. Also I think they just need to let Jordan and Woody get together before they decide to do away with the show!!! PLEASE DON’T TAKE CROSSING JORDAN OFF THE AIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crossing Jordon is a great show that keeps my attention the entire time. I don’t care if Criminal Minds is more popular, the fans think differently. I love the characters and the personal problems that make each and every case as good if not better than the last. I look forward and expect a 7th season next year. What about changing Jordon to Saturday evenings,this seems to be a dead nite, usually nothing worth while is on. I love Jordon and the entire cast. Putting it up against Criminal Minds was a big mistake, this show really holds my interest for being real – their are FBI profilers. Take off CSI Miami, maybe Horatio can then get his neck straightened, it always seems to keep his head turned away from whoever he is speaking to and maybe he can also get his hands detached from his hips.

Well if NBC would stop shuffling it around the way it does and actually have it air when is says it will, imean it was months after the season was supposed to premiere before it did then people would be able to find it and watch it and NBC would see Crossing Jordan has a very large fan base..

I really enjoy Crossing Jordan and will miss it if it’s canceled. My husband and I aren’t interested in all the reality shows that are taking over and I’ve talked to a lot of others that feel the same. It’s too bad that only the 18-19 year olds are the main target. I understand about advertising, but no one even mentions our age group. At 58 we are part of the huge group of baby boomers. Who do you think is home more to watch TV, the 18-19 year olds or older people? I suspect the younger group goes out more to the movies. Please don’t cancel Jordan.

I agree with Liz. There is just too many reality and other junk on TV. Crossing Jordan is one of the only programs that I look forward to catching on TV. My other favorite is the Closer.
The entire cast of Crossing Jordan are believable people and persons that you can associate with.
It would be terrible if they gave Jordan the ax. I know that now they are writing into the script about her being sick; well CSI Grimson is also suppose to have a hearing condition but week after week the audience just seems to put it on the back burner. The same thing could happen to Jordan or a specialist could help her. Then again anything is possible in TV.

You’re scaring me – the show should not end so soon. Give it another couple of seasons… and what people have said before it right. It is not raving popular, but as we see what trash becomes popular this is probably a good thing – and what has allowed the show to maintain its brilliance. I have been a studious viewer since the beginning in 2007, as I will be to the end. I just hope that end is further down the track than this prognosis.

I never miss Crossing.
I love the show and the cast.
There are very few shows I watch on the four (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX) major networks.
There is too much reality junk tv, and not enough good shows to watch.
As a long time tv viewer, I’ve seen the shows go from bad to worse.
I’ve turned to dish networks to make up for the lack of good programing from the four major networks. They are losing me as a viewer.
I have no doubt that they will axe Crossing Jordan.
It’s a shame!

While you may think Crossing Jordan is a good show, it will still be cancelled if no one is watching it. Sure the story and acting are good, but if no one watches, that doesn’t matter.

And 18-19 year olds most certainly matter. This has nothing to do with political power as one misguided poster discussed, but about economic power. Advertisers are not concerned with the political power of 18-19 year olds, and as insinuated above, most 18-19 year olds similarly do not care about their political power. They have money that they are willing to spend on frivilous things and so they are very attractive to advertisers.

Just because you guys like Crossing Jordan (as do I), that doesn’t mean enough people, not to mention young adults, are watching it in order for it to generate advertising revenue.

I totally agree with Yvonne and Dianna. This is the ONLY show I still set reminders to watch.

I find it amazing that the 18-19 year olds are so important as to have the power over what shows stay or go. As a former college teaching assistant, I am reminded of the argument my students used to make for lowering the legal drinking age. They believed if they were old enough to fight a war, they should be old enough to drink. I would respond by explaining the power of voting, telling them if college students would get organized and vote, they WOULD be able to get the drinking age lowered and the fighting age raised!! I showed them the amazing power of our seniors who organized with AARP, and now look at the benefits they are getting and the changes they are making with their votes. By the end of the semester, my students had seen what I was talking about and were all registered AND voting!!

Looks like we Crossing Jordan fans may need to organize and let the network know that we (a)don’t want this show canceled, (b)want it placed in a time slot where it might actually have a fighting chance, and (c)demand that some SERIOUS support be thrown toward this marvelous show and its potential fans.

In my mind, this is a show that has proven its value and longevity, making it worthy of the kind of “hype” we are seeing for a show like “Heroes,” which although well done with a likable young cast, I question its ability to keep the story going long-term.

However, I didn’t say that Crossing Jordan wasn’t a quality show. I’ve watched quite a few episodes and enjoy the series.

NBC’s decision most likely will be based on viewership and demographics. Neither one are very good right now.

Like most any show that’s been around this long, the series is most likely also an expensive one to produce.

I hope that it returns for another season as well. It’s just not looking very good right now.

I also want to say I disagree with you. Crossing Jordan is a great show that has survived with minimal promotion from NBC, thus actually making them more money. Crossing Jordan is well written and the acting is superb. This season has provided us with great stories and character development.
I have been a fan since the begining also, and am looking forward to the announcement from NBC of a 7th season.

I totally disagree with your assessment for Crossing Jordan. This is a solid show and Jill Hennessy and the others hit their mark consistently in every episode. The show is well written and endeavors to delve deep into character development. I love the fact that over the last six seasons, the writers have peeled away at each of the characters. This permits the show to remain fresh and interesting each week. Finally, the music is simply awesome and definitely a cut above anything else on network television.

I have been a fan since season one and look forward to NBC announcing a seventh season for Jill,Miguel, Steve, Kathryn, Ravi and Jerry!
