Leaving viewers hanging with that last episode is torture. It’s really disappointing that such a great series had to be canceled. I really do hope ABC changes their mind. Though I doubt. Sadly.

I was utterly shocked when they cancelled the show due to lack of ratings; the show was brilliant in my opinion. It was highly upsetting when they left the fans out cold with the last episode. The plots were sound, the characters were phenomenal, and the quality of the overall episodes were great. It was cute and it is hard to find GOOD quality humourous romantic shows now a days. I felt like I could relate to each “love sick” or “lost love” souls in the shows and that it was easy to believe the story lines. I really hope they change their minds about Cupid and start off were they left off.

My husband is military and we are stationed overseas, so the only way we can watch television is over the internet. Out of hundreds of shows, I found this one, and loved it. I am very disappointed it was canceled.

This show got cancelled? of course it did. any quality show ABC has ever made, and i fell in love with (my so called life…, once and again…) they cancelled. but shows like According to Jim stay on for 8 years (182 episodes)… i give up.

I loved this show.
And yeah, while it was always the same 2 couples that cupid made fall inlove.
Each storyline was different, and they added twists and stuff.
And I really wanted to see how it would end, if he was really a God or not.
And I did think the actors were good, I liked the characters… i never did see the original, maybe thats why I wasn’t dissapointed in this show?
Anyway, I really like it. And it sucks that they cancelled it. -.-
I hope it comes back, although I doubt it.

Hi. I’m not from the USA, actually I’m portuguese (Europe) but I did used to follow “Cupid”, from across the ocean, over the Internet, at the abc.com website. When I knew it was canceled, I thought…’there’s gotta be an explanation for this’. And it is, indeed. But not the one that I expected. Canceling “Cupid” because of the audience rates it seems not be a ‘matching’ solution. In my opinion, ABC should worry more about those people who used to follow “Cupid” (and there are a lot, as I’ve noticed) and find other ways to broadcast it. What about on the Internet only? Or move it to another time? It’s such a great tv show I’m sure people don’t want to miss it…as you can see for yourselves right here!

Count on ABC to can the good shows. I doubt we’ll see *V* resume in March, and they’ll probably pull *Flash Forward* now that it’s finally hit its stride.

I remember watching the original Cupid series with Jeremy Piven and was thrilled when I saw a remake coming. I liked this very much as well – it is a cute concept and the characters were interesting. I was sorry to see it cancelled, once again

No great loss – this remake was a pale impression of the original. The leads had no chemistry at all, Bobby Cannavale was certainly no Jeremy Piven; since they largely reused scripts from the original, which I have on tape, it was clear how weak the performances were – it looked like a bad high school attempt at performing a good play.

ABC really just needed to re-air the original, and they also need to get that show out on DVD.

I really liked cupid it was funny and it really made people think what love is. I didn’t know this was a remake i have never seen the original but this was a great show for all viewers, like Niki Bahia Says ” it gave me hope and faith when i was giving up on relationships.” That’s what this show did these were real people falling in love, it made us think one day that will happen to me. For ABC to canceled it when the first season didn’t even finish was very wrong, for the people who at least watched it should have been able to see the unfinished story no will never know. Unless ABC reconsiders and brings it back work with make it better, if you think it needs fixing in my opinion i feel it needs no fixing but please it was a good show to watch. I never really watched ABC until Cupid came on i saw it and said ” wow this is a pretty good show” i added it to my list of shows to watch when i saw it was not on anymore i couldn’t believe it here’s a show that really means something to people and they canceled it because they can and they didn’t think it was good enough. If you make better shows don’t just end it make it better how hard can that be. Please how bad would it hurt?

I’m Sorry , but I have been looking forward to the next show for two weeks and am very pissed off that it has been cancelled. The show gave me hope and faith when I was giving up on relationships. Bobby Cannavale character is an angel that I dream off all my life, that will knock some sense back into me when it comes to relationships. All these T.V Production people or whatever they are, need to try to understand their audience a lot more and they need to give their creations a lot more credit then what they have given them. They should take the story line from the first episode “Pilot” in realizing that everything takes time and the impossible could happen at anytime. To Dream a Dream to is to make it happen. Please put it back on air. I’ve always wanted a cupid in my life I finally found one on T.V and you guys from ABC have taken him away…It’s not his looks that I’m talking about it’s his character and personality that give people like me some reassurance to believe. And he also carries that through all his other characters that he’s played from ColdCase to Thrid Watch to Ally McBeal. PLEASE GIVE IT ANOTHER CHANCE. EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO PUT IT ON LATE AT NIGHT…..

ABC is stupid for not giving this show more of a chance. It was poorly advertised, not to mention it premiered during an awkward time(mid/late spring when every other show is in sweeps). Don’t put shows on the air if you’re not actually going to give them a chance. The acting on this show was great, and the show itself was also very good(i.e. funny and well written). It had major viewer potential, it just needed more time and more publicity. I’m sad to see that ABC has cancelled yet another great show because they were too impatient.

I really find it useless to even watch a show you mite like off their network because it’s a 97 percent chance it will get canceled, ABC is a unreliable network to count on when viewing a new serious you mite love but, ABC want give the show or the people chance to even like it and, further more if they advertise their damn shows more often then they wouldn’t be getting all theses low show ratio ratings

I really liked this show too! I don’t know what day/time slot it had as I only caught it on my Tivo by chance, but maybe it wasn’t given a real opportunity (ie. decent advertising and a prime time spot). I’m sorry more people didn’t watch it – it makes me sad that such a light-hearted feel-good show couldn’t stand up to CSI, Law & Order and the like. Where have all the romantics gone?

I found this show on abc episodes online. my friend told me i would love it and I watched three episodes and I am now hooked! I can not believe ABC canceled this series. The main actor (cupid) is amazing and I have fallen in love with his acting ability. Each episode is a boost of romantic, lovey dovey happiness and I love seeing different stories of people, falling in love.

I have never seen the original 1998 series, but I really like the updated version. I just wish there was hope! I would have gladly watched this show when it premiered!

Cupid was always a joy to watch. It’s a shame it’s cancelled. I couldn’t wait for the next episode to come on! I knew I could count on it making me smile. I work in a prison so I read horror stories that are REAL life. PreSentence Investigations are a reality to me on a daily basis. I know what it’s like to work with murderers, rapists, and the true horror of the worst humanity has to offer. I agree there are enough cops shows on. Watching a show like Cupid was a welcome break to reality. Some people enjoy something light hearted, silly and just plan funny. The show always seemed to end on a good note. Whoever decided to cancel a show like this is an idiot! Bring it back! Enough gore and horror. Put on something lighthearted and uplifting! What’s wrong with happy endings?

I am very disappointed that Cupid was cancelled. I really enjoyed it (unfortunately I have loved all of Rob Thomas’ shows that are sadly cut short with no real ending…Veronica Mars.) They already have so many medical and criminal shows (and ridiculous realty) that it was really nice to watch one that was about romance, but was also witty. I will really miss it!

Unfortunately, this edition of Cupid was nowhere near as good as the original (I loved the original). The casting wasn’t well done (Bobby Carnavale? as Cupid???), although the stories were OK. But for those of you that were wondering, Rob Thomas did reveal what the ending of the original was. Unsurprisingly, the 100th match would be between Claire and Trevor, who would renounce his godhood to stay with Claire. So the question of whether Trevor was really Cupid would never be answered, but it would have been a satisfying ending.

I thought this was an awesome show. Now this show was dropped for royal pains, from what I understand. Now royal pains is a good show, but seriously why would you cancel cupid. Its just blatently retarded, the reason you got poor ratings is because it was on to late, most of the people who would watch this show are in bed by then, because they work the next morning. Maybe you should really take into consideration every single show that you have on your station, obviously there is something that got horrible ratings, I mean seriously I only watch this channel for about 2 hours out of the 7 that i watch t.v. on a daily basis, all though it is still going to be 2, it would have been 3 if you were smart about it.

I loved Cupid, It was refreshing to see how love, and attraction was the main storyline. I don’t watch much tv, but on Tuesday I would enjoy a fun, loving, playful show. I guess boring medical shows and dumb detective shows are what numb minded people with no sense of possible romance are into…I guess its back to my radio…

Cupid is a great, fun whitty comedy show and I loved it! Quit with all the STUPID REALITY SHOWS!!! It is nice to be able to watch something to get out of this world and bad things going on at least for a moment. I questioned the wisdom of bringing back a once-failed show at all, let alone, one which had flopped badly ten years earlier, & it seems I was right this time.

Time to move on to something worth our viewing time. I woulda sooner watched a test pattern than this garbage. GOOD RIDDANCE!
